I screwed up my own strategy by having the British into the war before the US. I shouldn’t have agreed to low luck. It put my brain into experiment mode, which I like, but makes me more adventurous. The bid going for transports was an experiment and ineffective. Your opening two rounds for Germany are impressive.
For anyone watching at home, Myygame puts you in a dilemma, Sealion or Gibraltar. This gets the Ge navy into the Med t3. Do not scramble t1. That scramble made me ignore 96. This nullified my investment in the Indian ocean. I shouldn’t have attacked Iraq, but gone to Persia. I should have looked at your standings for OOB 40.2. That would have made me really cautious. I should have reduced taranto to a 75 percent chance in order to go after the destroyer. Because of low luck, Myygame knows the odds and results for t1 English navy battles AND taranto. You are not taking out German air force that he is not willing to lose. Very slick, sir. I will be watching to see if you have an equally impressive Allied strategy. Good luck. thanks for the flowers, it was good playing with you.I think your analysis is quite good. Getting UK into the war early without US and also losing the UK aircraft early has decided this game.
One more thing to add is the technology option you chose. I am not convinced that researching will provide a benefit, even to the US. I think the long range aircraft you got really is a good option (so your roll was good there), because it increases the range significantly. Nevertheless it is a costly option wich is hard to pull off into an advantage, since the downside of it is less troops on the board, something that US needs more desperate than technologies in the beginning.
Anyways, thanks for the game! And yes, I am open to another round if you like, also I need to check first when the next one starts here… I am not sure my time allows two games simultaniously.

I did not calcualte that you could use your tokens to destroy 2 (on average) of my ships. With these two lost my fleet would not do enough damage for a good trade against japan. Even though it would have been nove to build ships in SZ20 with your complex in kwantung… but it is not enough when losing to your tokens.
I will send a new turn, sorry for the confusion.

Now I understand: You were moving the Transport in the combat move. You should Not do that. Get into the habit of only moving units that participate in combat in that phase. Then move the rest in the NCM. You can use the arrows bottom right to cycle through all units and make sure you dont forget any. Make sure you have not forgotten any. That helps ;-)

I generally dont like the idea of standard bids. It generates unique settings and experiences to bid for a game and decide how that will manifest on the board.
I feel though, that the discussion is more on evening out player levels. And thus giving the „weaker“ player also the chance to play more axis (since „stronger“ Player will accept higher bids against „weaker“ the axis often goes to the „stronger“). That could maybe be done with a kind of Handicap system:
E.g. If tier 1 plays against tier 3 it could automatically mean a +X number of IPC in favour of the Tier 3 player. In that example, if both agree on bid Y, this could result in Tier 1 player playing allies with Y-X bid, or Tier 3 player playing Allies with X+X bid
Something like this maybe. Of course that would even out the the strength of players, so it would also have to be thought about if beating higher tier players still should result in more league points…

92: if you keep the subs alive i will lose the cruisers first to deny first strikes. guess that would not have changed anything.
In SZ6 my sub takes the opportunity to dive, I will edit that
and yes, my BB got lucky! Nevertheless I have not forgotten why it is so lonley and damaged there: because your thre subs rolled three 1s there last turn… so just the luck returned I would say ;-)
