      No, that’s not possible. The battle has to be restarted with adjusted casualties.

      So, if we say we adjust the combat rolls whenever possible, would we need to roll all dices manually for a combat where this is relevant? And then edit the result?

      Yes.

      In the case of hitting the french navy, I can simply exchange the sub for a des before battle. That’s pretty feasible.

      With the UK navy in z97 it’s trickier since the sub defends @1.

      Anyway, before we proceed, we just need to find our common ground.

      OK, if you would like to try that we can do. I still fear it will be complicated and there may be errors, but lets give it a try. Maybe that lets you see the LL concept in a better light then ;-)

      The rules would be: Combine everything that is possible, seperate only when needed.

      • Combine sub values to fleet if no enemy air present and no DD
      • Combine bombardment to amphibious assaults in round 1 (?)
        In that case roll manual dices in the forum with short description what the dices are for, for all following combat rolls.

      Any additions?

      You can just restart the game and if the tech roll is incorrect you leave the game and restart again. I am not sure if you can edit technologies properly… but then, I never tried to do it, so it might also work. Restarting is safer I think.

      I think the easiest and therefore most important one is when subs attack des. To simply exchange subs for des before the battle is easy and straight-forward.

      I’m not completely opposed to keeping things simple and just follow the faulty 3A when subs defend, but it’s weird to not follow the spirit of LL.

      I have not thought about all the implications of these cases.

      Lets say the folliwing spirit applies:
      Whenever two rolls would be rolled by AAA that target the same group of units these rolls are combined to one roll.

      That should cover what we intend, right?

      Yes, I am quite happy with my progress against Caesars axis. I love to play allies, but sadly it is a rare thing. In the past I got beaten most of the time during bidding. But, honestly, I will not go below certain bids because I think the allies need em.

      The scramble in 111:
      I based the decision on the battle calculator comparisons ob combats with and without the UK fighter. The IPC loss was lower with the fighter.
      Also, I assume this fighter is not urgently needed in the UK turn. Hope that does not turn false in the end…

      Edits should aim to correct klick-errors, caused by wrong or too fast klicking in trippleA
      Edits must be accepted by both players
      Edist should be mentioned in the post, except if its only a NCM in the same turn
      Edits never should give a tactical advantage to a player. Especially no dice should be rolled that are relevant for the edit. The turn sequence must be kept
      Edits should be made in a timely manner. Best case in the same turn before the post. Latest before the next players turn

      What I am looking at:

      • The pacific is quiet for now. I need more US presence there as usual, will build 2 ACs. Safing two small boats and fighter from Philippines ill help but not be neough
      • I can hold the SZ 54 with teh UK BB and the ANZAC units. that is nice and I will do so. Probably anothe transport with ANZAC and grab an island
      • India needs to build up units. Thinking about grabing an island here as well… It is alsways a consideration to offer something to the japanese, but not enough that they will have a big advantage… difficult decision
      • in europe I am facing two units in 110. This is unfortunate. probably the UK DD needs to go there and I will be convoied in 106. bad. Maybe I will build 2 small boats in 106 to be able to clear it next turn. Also, it would be best for the 109 transport to move there and pick uö some units from canada… yes, two boats seem fine.
      • London is safe. German air force has chosen to land in northern italy. They cannot reach London, great!
      • The med is difficult without more bid there. I think I need to clear two italian transports. That will be costly, but I cannot help it. without bid this is difficult terrain…

      Will go later today…

      • China: Nice opportunity to attack another artillery. I might be risking a 2 vs 1 attack. Cannot hold in Sezuan against the japanese air, so need to retreat further. Would cost around 6 planes for japan to attack a fully stacked sezuan (11+1 chinese), which is a good result but borderline. Also I think I cannot afford to stack more russian there, this might just make it more attractive for japan… but hey, maybe if I use all russian planes? Need to calculate that…

      @crockett36 i tested it locally and it seems to work just as described in the rules in my Post. I am not sure if the AA is correct, i would assume that each AA has still only 3 shots and that
      Dices should be rolled against planes and paratroopers seperately. We will need to figure out if the low luck is working properly here in trippleA once we have that case.

      This island hopping game in masrshall is pretty uncommon for me. I wanted to attach another destroyer with my planes, which succeeded. Nevertheless, not the best position there… lets see what it brings.

      Hmm, I remember I saw that I forgott the move, but apparently I did not change it. Also, I did move the relevant fighter in the NCM then. You know what, I think this is my mistake. Lets leave it as is and continue.
