I saw them in Toys R Us the last time I was thru there (but that is about the same as ordering online to me.) Try your local comic/gaming shop. If they don’t have one they would probably order one for you. Many stores like that keep a copy on the shelf.

Yeah, 2 or 3 of our games sort of never ended or ended under bad circumstances.

For example, one game (I was Axis), and played a PAfr bid (23 I think), yet he left Kar under defended so I pulled the Afr troops to Cauc and took Kar as well.  He claimed foul and called me a “dice chucker”, I said he should have defended better and not to assume anything due to my bid placement.

Another game we played was a designed test game, he wanted to see counters to a certain PE bid, or at least see how I’d counter.  I think it was 4 inf Ukr, 4 inf EE bid, I don’t really remember.  I think I probably would have lost that one.

Also the first game we ever played was my first LL game (about 3 years ago) and needless to say I lost b/c LL is quite different from ADS, and I wasn’t prepared for some of the subtle differences.

I think yet another game or 2 we started and never finished.  I put me at 2-3, but that is more of an assumption on my part, we probably only actually finished 2 of our games so 1-1 is probably more accurate.  I don’t know for sure though.

I do have to credit Agent with helping to improve my game and showing me LL and the transition from ADS to LL.  Infact when he talked strat I think he helped a lot of players, but it was when he would venture into the personal attacks that would turn people off.

Well better is a relative term. I don’t think any game is “better” than any other. More a matter of preference.

Battle of the Bulge is not out yet and they have just begun the process of telling folks how the game is going to work. You are on your own on that one till November. Check out the forum board for the game on this site. There are some links to articles and pics.
D-Day is good if you only have a couple of hours and mostly want something to do while drinking some beers and hanging out.
Europe to me is the weakest and it has been awhile since I’ve played a game. It isn’t a bad game it is just the one I like the least.
Pacific I really like. I like the convoy centers and routes rules. I like the harbor and air bases rules and the victory points aspect. I like the way the board looks. Marines and it is fun when the US to spend 70 IPCs a turn. I think it is my favorite but I can’t say it is “best.”
Revised is what we seem to play the most. It is most like second edition with lots of the things that don’t work for lack of a better way to say it fixed. It can drag out a bit too long for me sometimes but it is really balanced and fair.

That is my take on your question. Frankly, I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them. But they all have a different tenor or feel to them.

I’ve re-read the rules on violating neutrality…now this discussion makes sense!  Thanks.

      ?

True, a TRN can handle at most 2 units per turn (if they are INF), otherwise only 1 unit.
