What is amazing is that many of these children die because of lack of family planning services. Many die of starvation due to conflict as well but often conflict is driven by lack of access to resources which is often related to out of control population growth. Condoms save lives in many ways.

RE: If US lost the battle of Midwayposted in World War II History
I think the delay would have been at most 1 month if that. Once the economic engine of the US was revved up their material/technical advantage guaranteed victory. No research and development would have been affected, if anything, failure at Midway would cause the home front to work even harder! A working atom bomb and a means of delivery would have been available on the same day or a few days sooner. The US would probably still have about 100 or so carriers of various size on Aug 6, 1945. That would guarantee they could own any island they required to get to Japan. As it was, B-29 raids against Japan flown from the Marianas began in November 1944. One could argue a loss at Midway delays bombing raids from the Marianas for several months but even if the delay was 6 months that gives the USAF 3 months to get the hang of bombing Japan from the Marianas before Aug 6th when a working atom bomb can be delivered as per history from there….

That’s what beer goggles and shots are for! But you are modest Most Holy. I’d totally do you if I went that way.

Only recently here has walmart ventured into groceries, it was primarily a department store initially. Yeah, I think low end Chinese cars for about 5000 dollars will appear in walmart in a few years. Witt, you would be an excellent product tester!

Nice to see civilized nations going to court rather than war.

Most Holy, love Tapps! My buddy Dave the Dog man has his dog training academy near Tapps and he’s taken me there a few times, make a GREAT burger there too, wings sounds rather affordable will have to check them out too! As for Rye, yeah, Crown was the big thing when you were a kid. I was drinking Gibsons but switched to Forty Creek, well, technically mostly to water but that is only for awhile and there are exceptions to the rule! I’m going to try to drag John the Brewmaster up, perhaps now its a summer venue he might take a break from the collage brewing program. He seems to know a thing or two about everything and just about everything to do with beer!

Quite the auto industry in Ontario Witt. During WWII the Canadian auto sector (by Canada I mean the province of Ontario) built more trucks then Germany and Russia combined. Not bad for a province that had less than 4 million people in 1941. I agree with the quality of Chinese products. Just had a heater in the bathroom die, was about 2 years old and made in China. I doubt that will stop many people from buying Chinese cars at Walmart in a few years once they appear. Not like my 1971 Chevy hotrod pickup truck or my 1980 Chevy Camaro muscle car, those were built to last a bit longer.

living in American territory (including Guam, Samoa, Virgin Islands, Canada, etc.)
When did Canada become American territory? :-)
Inflation is not a bad thing for the debt as long as the interest rates don’t go too high relative to the inflation rate. Always nice to pay off today’s debt with tomorrows dollars.

Can we at least have the tank tow an old couch or something that we can ride on as well? Riding on the actual tank is going to require a lottery system because it’s going to be one oversubscribed event!
