I saw some of the expansions of A&A have cards. Do they offset the luck factor of the dice?
I’ve played a many of card-driven military board games and the luck factor is just a high as dice only games.

German SS tanks and maybe the infantry defended at 3. Which was new back then.
Japan had pillboxes that infantry defended at 3
U.S. had marines that attacked at 3 amphibiously
Britain had commando that attacked at 2 amphibiously
Paratroopers could only be dropped on adjacent areas and had to be dropped by transport planes that needed to be purchased. I don’t remember how much they were.
They had trucks you could but to move infantry along with your tanks 2 spaces. Again the price I don’t know.
German sub were 6icps and had the attacking 3 wolfpack rule.
All nations could buy destroyers, escorts and cruisers. Destroyers were 2-2 escorts were 1-2 or 1-3 depending on how many transports they were protecting. Cruiser were 3-3. I think the DES and ESC were 8icps and cruisers were 12.
You see transports had no defense. You had to buy escorts to protect them.
Only escorts and destroyer could hunt/ for subs. No other unit could attack subs.
Destroyers protected the surface navy.
There were Hellcats and Zeros 8icps which were 3-3 only moved 3 spaces and could only land on carriers.
Never mind. I get it. Its just arranging the dice showing how much of each number was rolled, I get it….carry on…nothing to see here…I’m a idiot.
those rolls seem a little fishy to me. Its like 1 2 3 4 5 6 for the most part hmmmmmmmmmm.
Rolling 10 3 4:
(1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 5, 5, 5, 5, 5) (1, 6, 6) (1, 3, 3, 5)
Rolling 20 9 4:
(1, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 5, 5, 5, 6, 6, 6) (1, 3, 4, 4, 5, 5, 5, 6, 6) (2, 3, 3, 6)
Rolling 10d6 3d6 9d6:
(1, 2, 2, 3, 4, 4, 4, 4, 4, 5) (1, 1, 5) (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 6, 6, 6)
ahhh for F#($ sakes….
Just kidding. I found the variant on Thrasher’s web site. It’s called Gamers Paradise expansion
The argument over god or whatever exsisting has been done over and over here. So, any poster who has been here for any length of time has seen this before. There is no convincing one side or the other, so people stop posting about it. Been there, done that. It’s still kind of fun once in a while to get into it though.
but He is the one who will reach them in their own time (hopefully) and show them what they need to know
But Odin is the one who will reach them in their own time (hopefully) and show them what they need to know.
Mic check one two one two
Rolling 1 2 3:
(6) (3, 4) (1, 1, 2)
I’ve heard that about this game. I tried to play it a little bit, but its too epic for me. Grand theft auto San Andreas is about as epic as I can handle and I I’ve been playing that for over a year on and off.
We should maybe have a locked thread with a how-to on this - every two pages someone else asks how to use it, and it starts all over…
Sorry, I did not read the entire thread.
Thanks for the response, Frood.
Well I believe in diamonds. I might even believe in a diamond the size of a stove. I might even believe that there is a diamond the size of a stove buried somewhere in my back yard. Of coarse, there is no proof of a diamond the size of a stove ever exsisting, but I have faith that one does and it is buried in my back yard. Every Sunday my family and I like to dig for this diamond and I certainly would not want to live in a world where a diamond this big did not exsist and believing in this diamond gives my life meaning.
I saw a post like this somwhere but I don’t remember where
Rolling 1 2 3 4 5:
(3) (2, 5) (4, 4, 5) (1, 1, 6, 6) (1, 1, 1, 5, 6)

Rolling 1 2 3:

Umm… this may seem dumb, however…where do I fine this in-site dicey program?
