Strat Bombing is dumb in the basic game. There is no real defence against it. if America, Britain and the Russians Strat Bomb Germany it gets sick really quick and theres nothing Germany can do about it. At least in AAE you can Defend with your fighters.

For every good dice roll there is a bad dice roll, this stuff balances itself out over time. I wouldnt change the game. If you play the game the way your suggesting, I think it would become to predictable.

isnt there a 3rd edition rule book that has submerging subs? If aircraft alone attack subs they have only one round of combat. So, after all the aircraft have attacked the remaining subs submerge and remain in the
same sea zone, like AAE. -

The game is suppose to be imbalance.
Try AAE or AAP or ,like SUD suggested, Xeno World at War. -
RE: USA in China?posted in Axis & Allies Pacific
No, the Americans cant build in china. They can however, land or fly units there. I belive they can rebuild a fighter at the chinese factory if the frist one is lost. …umm though this might be an AA World at War rule.

RE: Battleshipsposted in Axis & Allies Pacific
When i play the Americans, on the frist turn i like to buy 3 Battleships, there tight.
I dont think the Japs can afford them.
Nothing beats a horde of battleships, somtimes you just have to over do it.

RE: A questionposted in Axis & Allies Pacific
Japan is limited to those areas because, kamikaze, killing your best pilots, was a last resort. Only when Japan itself was threaten did this (Kamikaze) become a major combat tactic.
Killing your best pilots off the coast of New Zealand in a Kamikaze attack would be poor judgement.

RE: Combining the games …posted in General Discussion
Bossk, I was looking in the AAP rules to see if a tank could move into a battle, fight and win, then withdraw back to the area it started from.
Infantry cant retreat from offshore landings
i was just wondering if the tanks could according to that “new tank rule” states above.Canada rules the hockey World……Scores

RE: How could it be that…posted in Axis & Allies Europe
You can place built units in a seazone with emeny ships.

RE: Finland Norwayposted in Axis & Allies Classic
Although the 2 infantry are worth more IP, the tank in this case is more important. You need all the attacking power and range you can get for the inevitable attack into Russia.
-
RE: Finland Norwayposted in Axis & Allies Classic
yup, those troops are screwed, but you can transport the tank outta there if you want.
