If you want to play “vanilla” then by all means do so.  As for me, I like a little Rocky Road sometimes!

Making Rocky Road out of vanilla ice cream means you have to buy chocolate ice cream and marshmellows too, when you could just buy a brand of Rocky Road ice cream.

People are always looking to bring a new level of realism to A&A and though I think that’s fine and fun you are just better off playing another WW2 game the covers the amount of detail you are looking for.

Having said that, If you include supply for A&A, I would suggest reducing the attack and defence of the units that are cut off by one. Or in the case of attacking infantry, 2inf equal 1 attack dice.

I didn’t start playing on Saturday until like 1:00am. I’m in the central time zone too.

Well, we try to work together but we are still both under .500 so it clearly not that useful. Yes, snipers can be a pain.

Really, the main advantage playing side by side with someone is that it easy to communicate and coordination. Like, one of us draws fire while the other flanks.

What time zone are you in Gewehr? Either way. I’ll likely be playing sometime today.

I usually play on Firdays and Saturdays mainly during the evening and late night.

I just ranked up to corporal. I’m really not that impressive. I think my over all score is like 357 kills to 850 deaths. I’m hardcore. You gotta love the spawn deaths by artillery and aircraft. You probably did see my friend. I don’t think one can confuse the name curseofyig with much else. He has two computers side by side so it makes it a little easier for us to see what’s going on when we’re all up in you’re grill, lol. You know he looks one way I look the other. It hard to sneak up on us.

Yup, I do. Just started playing a couple of months ago. I usually play on a server called Skunkworks on the weekends. I go by the name Diggerblue. If you’re around Squad up!. I roll with a dude named curseofyig.

The game plays a little like Flames of War. So I’ve heard anyway.

It’s kind of like a lighter version of Squad leader. The game also has event cards that add a little twist to each senario.

It breaks down like this, sort of.

each side alternates moving 3 bases each time until there are on units left to move.
each base has an attack and defense value whether thats 0 or 4 or whatever.
Firepower is a certain amount of d6s. Like a mg42 is 4 dice. Each 5 of 6 scores a hit.
The defender rolls their defence dice cancelling each hit against them with a 5 or 6.
Terrian, armor and fortifications account for most defence, Although there are cards that may impact that as well.
It’s pretty straight foward and fun.
There are couple things I don’t like about it and that is the lack of anti-tank guns and machine gunners, if given opp fire, can shoot at every single unit thats moves provided it has line of sight.

I finnished the German campaign and almost done with the British. Good game. Just as tight as the original but, as one game reveiwer put it, there is alot of micro-managing going on.
The game gets an additional thumbs up for the inclusion of Canadian infantry and arty. Eh!

I think the order was crucial too. Had to end with the Tarantino flick, it wouldn’t have been nearly as good if they reversed them.

I went in thinking that “Death Proof” was going to be shown first. Either way, It would have been fine.

I’m tired of gimmicky cinema, and want something solid, artistic, and meaningful.  Sure, I enjoy feelgood movies every once in a while, but I feel like everything is filler these days, with a few gems here and there.

I agree, for the most part, with you here, however, theres guys (Rodriguez/Tarantino) with the exception of Spy Kids, do not make run of the mill/appeal to teenage girls/MTV type crap movies and I would argue that their movies are both solid and artistic.

They can do better, and should.

They do just fine for the of type of films they create.

If anyone you can watch this movie and not get a smile on your face then maybe it’s you, not the movie, that’s the problem

Saw it. It was good. You can’t go wrong with Rodriguez or Taratino.

I enjoy a good zombie movie so that’s where the ghoul came from. The Mr. part just came to me at the time. You know, when you’re this creepy they call you Mr.! or something dumb like that.  :-P
