RE: New Rules/ Aggessionposted in Miniatures (Original)
I’ve been keeping track of any clarifications and have posted a few scenarios as well.
Right now, you can use aggression to enter another vehicle’s hex with the pre-attack agression-move (obviously taking DF, though multiple BA-10M could get through) and fire on its rear. At the end of the phase, it must “back out” of the hex.
This could cause a chain reaction of additional units backing out in more rare situations.
As I stated early on, this is a unit managemnt nightmare. Good thing I play by MapView so I know where my units moved from :-D

RE: German Goliath Bombs?posted in Miniatures (Original)
I never liked them myself, though you do make a good point about it being a 1939 unit…Germany does need a bit of help versus those French Char b1 bis monsters…

Yes they do need line of sight. I’ll try to find the “official” clarification for you as well.

Very cool. Haloween is a great holiday for the kids. Jack-o-lanterns are fun, please I like the seeds roasted :-D

RE: Contested skies 'scale'posted in Miniatures (Original)
1939-1945 was the first up-scaled one. All sets after that are and will be the larger size. (So right now that includes North Africa and the upcoming Eastern Front set)

RE: Contested skies 'scale'posted in Miniatures (Original)
No, the scale is different. And they always paint the units different to allow you to visually tell them apart better. And finally, each set has a unique icon on the bottom of it.
Actually, the T-35 is in the Reserves and has never been reprinited in the larger scale. Yes, it was that big in the small scale. :-o

Planes cannot capture territory (only ground troops). AND planes cannot land in territories that were just captured.

RE: Very balanced 200 point Japan (comment)posted in Miniatures (Original)
Good call, yes I can see that working well!
I find Heroes and Snipers (of any nation) pair really well togther too. Often your opponent will use a vehicle to move point-blank and flush out snipers. But with a Hero in your pocket you can deploy and move into an adjacent hex to take out the vehicle.
The paras are another obvious pairing and you’ve got some of them in your build too.
The achilles heel of all Japanese builds is always enemy Armour…

As an aside, what is your opinion of the Vet Fals? 10 points is pretty steep. I think the SE Paras are still better at 9 points w/ Hard Charger.

RE: SQUARESposted in Other Games
You did it fine, I didn’t have a lot choices…more guns was not the answer

RE: Very balanced 200 point Japan (comment)posted in Miniatures (Original)
At 200 points you should be able to field 2 Heroes right? As Japan’s only Close Assault 8 unit, you must take as many Honor-bound Heroes as you are allowed.

Agreed. The correctly-costed one doesnt have the ribbon.

Unfortunately there are several errors/typos in the new cards.
It looks like the 7pt one has the ribbon?
