What would an overstacked counter really designate? That there are more than 1 vehicle in a hex? I can count to two

RE: Jan 27th Stacking Rules Examination, Explanation and FAQposted in Miniatures (Original)
I finally got a chance to read though these new stacking rules and updates. Some questions and comments.
Vehicle facing: Same old question? A vehicle attacking an overstacked enemy vehicle in the same hex (and counter attack); is this a rear armor attack?
Yes.
Vehicle facing (turretless tank): Can this vehicle attack a tank in the same hex?
If it say “only attack vehicles in front” then it CANNOT attack within the same hex.
Q13) (my undering) Defensive fire: If a vehicle disrupts an ememy vehicle with defensive fire while the enemy vehicle is moving through the same hex, the enemy vehicle remains disrupted in the vehicles hex that made the defensive fire. My problems/questions: Must it attack in the same hex (it appears it does from the example)? This does not comply the current rules. Current rules state that you can make a defensive fire attack against the enemy unit in either the hex it started in or the hex it is moving into.
You can (and should) fire before it enters your hex.
Second question is again vehicle facing; if it must or does occur in the same hex, is it a rear armor attack?
Facing has no effect one way or the other if you are in the same hex. Its always rear.
Third question is if cover still effects this defensive fire?
Yes, cover rules still apply, but your overstack penalty “hits” are not attacks so those will not get a df roll.

Hey, good to see you around!
Before I answer, was there another stacking rules change recently, or is this still the first one where vehicles can be “overstacked”?
If there was another change since then, please post a link.

RE: Damage counters and stackingposted in Miniatures (Original)
It almsot helps to pretend face down hit counters don’t have any markings on them. For most purposes, it is simple a numeric count of the hits you’ve takne. The type of effect generally comes into play when you flip them face-up in the casualty phase.
for example, you have a disrupted Panzer, and a damaged panzer, both with face up counters
your opponent shoots the disrupted panzer and equals the reduced armour, do you get a face down disrupted counter for being the first hit that turn, or a face down damaged counter because its the second hit the tank has taken that game? You place one hit counter face down. In the casualty phase, the first hit counter turned face-up is always a Disrupted counter.
same with the damaged one, your opponent disrupts that, is it a face down disrupted counter for being the 1st hit that turn, or face down destroyed counter for it being the 3rd hit that game
You place one hit counter face down. In the casualty phase, the first hit counter turned face-up is always a Disrupted counter.

RE: SQUARESposted in Other Games
That Cav is pinned by the Artillery (a unit adj to a single enemy artillery unit may not attack or support an attck against a unit besides that artillery)

RE: Speed Boost?posted in Miniatures (Original)
The intent of the rule is that it can use speed boost to, for example, attack another aircraft and if a disrupt or kill is scored, that target aircraft is disrupted or killed immediately, with no return fire.
Sorry for the “first-strike” reference…I used to play Magic (MTG) back in college and that was an ability in that game that effectively is what I just described.

Not much of an aircraft person, but I think its a first-strike type ability right?
