as for LHTR i do know what that is,  i really do.  someone typed LHTR 2.0 and i was wondering if that was the same one i got in my revised game.  there’s some NA’s that are not in my book,  but i’m learning some are made up.

tekkyy,  yea i forgot about the victory cities,  i never pay attention to them,  a win in my book is going for the capitol.  thats why i’m not sure about the capitol exile rule.

as for  my reputation,  i dunno,  i’m just mojo,  i think i’m a pretty good player,  but i haven’t won anything yet.

i think you took it a little to literal,  i did not mean sit and stockpile money and do absoluety nothing,  but you can sit back while the others pound each other and decide which way to go.

is the new capitol limited to it’s ipc value ?  so if UK has australia as it’s new capitol,  he can only build 2 units ?  just wondering i’m not sure how down with this rule i am,  but i’m thinking about it.  and where did this rule come from ?  where is this LHTR 2.0 ?  it’s not the rule book in revised ?

yea superfortress means aa guns cannot hits USA bombers,  i’m not sure what rules i have it’s the book in the revised game.

as for tech i see you can use them the round you get them.  i like that.

as for the capitol exile rule,  i’m not sure,  the game does need to end at some point. i guess we can discuss it.

ok thats fine we all choose 1 +  UK & russia roll for 1 more each,  can USA choose superfortress?
as for the conscripts thats cool too.

what about techs,  can we roll for them,  and do you use them the same rd. you get them ?

are you talking every country choosing 1 tech + 1 NA,  UK & russia get 1 tech + 2 NA ?

i like it rand.  what is capitol in exhile ?    i like the extra money alot,  any giving UK 1 ic + combine boats in sz 2 will  help too.  i also like the fig + bom to russia.  at the very  least russia has to get 1 bom,  everybody else has 1.

i’ve never played a game with NA’s,  but i’ve looked them over.  do we pick which ones we want or roll for them.  can we allow USA to have superfortress ?

can we roll for tech during the game,  can we roll for more NA’s during the game.

and i have a question about tech,  you roll for it at the start of your turn,  can you use it that turn or do you have to wait until next rd ?  my buddies and I play you use it right away,  but i think i’ve seen guys here wait until next rd.  just wondering.

all in all i like it alot Rand,  we have to make some changes to make it fair for UK & russsia,  and i think these are good ones.

i’ll look at your ideas.  we also tossed one around but never played it was  giving a dollar amount to start,  buy what you want,  and have at it.

good idea also DM.  we even let UK go first before,  but it only helped a little.  the real problem with FFA is the USA is just too tough,  and to far away to get hit.  so UK, GERm, RUss  beat each other up and the USA sits back and goes after the weakest one.  japan is in a good place unless USA just decides to go after them,  and then the rest of the world loves that.

bottom line is UK needs help somehow, someway,  and so does russia.

as for allies.  when it’s online like this people can talk and the rest of the players have no idea,  but when me & my buddies play it’s all table talk,  so as soon as allies are made,  others are also made. it can really make for a wierd game when russia & germany not not attacking.

but i’ll try playing one if we can get others  interested,  as for the rules,  i’m open.

me and my buddies have tried this game many times.  unless the brits and russia make allies with someone,  they have no chance.  so what we did was move UK capitol to south africa,  all units from uk + boats in sz 1 & 2 went to usaf,  and we moved 1 inf to uk.  so the island of uk was worth 2 ipc,  and usaf was 8.  then we gave russia 10 ipc per round up to 40.  so if russia earned 35 ipc it would only get 5.  it gave russia and uk a real chance,  and really changed the game.  and i did win with russia, once.  when i took berlin i had 10 fig + 3 bom.

i’ll play a ffa game,  with any rules you want.  i use the real board so if it needs to be tossed i’ll do it.

i’ll chime in by saying this.  i hope,  i hope,  i just freaking hope we have an election in
Nov 08  &  a new president in Jan 09.  thats not asking for too much is it?

thats exactly how i see it. i believe thats correct.  but i have to admit i dislike the rule that a sub can’t get the  sneak shot on another sub.  since they both fire on operning fire.  i dislike that,  if there’s no dd they should get the sneak shot.  my buddies and i play that way.  subs can sneak on subs,  it plays good in the solomon & pearl attacks.

i’m talking about the killl shot, once it’s damaged if the sub hits again it does not return fire.

hey switch i do believe if the sub hits the bb  with the kill shot, it does not get return fire.  am i correct?

ouch. i’ve said jenn plays AA just a little better than W plays president.  :-D

SS that is just nutts how can you keep track of 15 games at one time. i’m like switch the actual board 1 game at a time, and i spend enough time thinking about that game, 15 would fry my brain even more.    :-P  i do own pacific i’d love to play that again sometime, i need to go buy europe.
