i agree i will either buy 1 ac+ 1 dd and put fleet in sz 6. or just buy land units and move  all allies to algeria, sz 12.  never never let the german fleet to link up. we should be on each others list for a game switch, but your like me 1 game at a time with the actual board. the only way to play it.

hey switch, jenn is correct uk cannot buy a navy unless u.s.a reinforces uk. or the brits buy land units.  we both got smacked by the operation sea lion in back to back games.

i love the dogfight rules me and my boys have added to our revised games, i would like to add it to our online games. anyone else agree?

i agree switch i usally use just air power+ 1 sub or dd, but this game i went a little thin, i also attacked the uk fleet in sz 34, so pearl cost me 1 sub+ 2 fig. not to bad.  but my point is withoput a kill japan first plan not attacking pearl isin’t that bad.  it’s hard for me not to go after japan if i’m left with the pearl fleet. the question is, is it better for the axis to draw USA in the pacific, and japan battle them thier ? can germany hold off UK & russ? i believe germany can hold on, but cannot take moscow, and to win you have to take a capitol.

i can’t believe it happend, i agree with jen.  i do attack pearl 90% of my games, but i have on ocasion not attacked and still won.  since allies win majority of games anyway, it really doesn’t hurt.

yes switch i love it, i also use the actual board, my table is crates and plywood, but i love the paint idea maybe the next house we’ll have to consider that. it was a little wierd the last month or so with no board set up, but now i got a game and ready to go. i haven’t played a game with the guys in months i’m really ready for that. i don’t like this computer thing so i’ll always use the board the computer just gets me opponets, and intro. to some new strats. thanks

you cannot stop uk from taking norway. if you leave troops there they will die. if you add troops you take away from attacking russia & they still will die. if you can pile in karelia it will slow down uk.

you are correct you can not move that AA until next turn.

i agree tc revised is way better,  but i’m feeling old i started playing classic about 13 years ago or so.  and risk before that with dad and uncles, great game still play once in great while.  pacific & europe  are also good, but hard to win with the allies.  i like revised because it’s the most evenly matched of all the games. the axis do have a good chance to win, and alot more games where both moscow & berlin fall.

i think thats a pretty good rule change. i love some of the changes from classic to revised.  cheaper figs, build them on ac.  limits on builds and sbr are a good change too. i’ll have to think about what i’d change now.  the game is more even in revised than classic was.

i disagree i’m reading the rules manual from revised. whenever a air unit enters a territory. so roll all air units at once, attacker choses casualites. SBR is only bombers so you roll that seperately

roll all planes attacking land at the same time. attacker choses casualties.  roll all bombers only on SBR seperate.  hits will be bombers.  switch is also right AA can change a game,  they are very important.

hey what is LHTR?  i always thought only bombers could go on sbr .  so if figs & bombers are attacking land you roll all dice attacker choses casualites. but if you send bombers on and SBR and figs to land you roll seperatly.
