    • RE: USSR newbie

Thanks so much for your help. I played a game yesterday and the allies won. I ended up doing the bellorossa stack and let him take Stalingrad and then Leningrad. When he took Turkestan I attacked his force with everything I had and massacred him. Then he took Bellorassa and then I attacked again with everything I had. By this point I was taking some of his tanks and all his infantry were mostly wiped from the board. US and UK started Landing on the west coast of europe and moscow was saved.

So do I let him just take Leningrad, and Stalingrad or do I fall back to those places?

      2. Take E. China with all available fighters and Infantry except one infantry in Manchuria and one in Burma
      3. Attack Pearl Harbour with All Avaliable Naval Unit (except Transports) and 2 Fighters and Bomber
      4. Load Guys in French Indo China Burma

      Turn 2

      1. Buy 1 Transport and Infantry
      2. Attack Manchuria, Soviet Far East, Sin Kiang, and India (Bring in Fleet to attack Manchuria/Soviet Far East

      Rest of the Game
countinue moving west so that you get to the border of Moscow by Turn 4. By this time you should take some transports take Hawaii, New Zealand and Austrailia. You should begin moving guys into the middle east and then later Africa.

In my last game Japan took Russia and USA took Germany. At this point it was a stalemate. My opponent and I started opening up new fronts everywhere. The Pacific, Africa and Even Brazil. We started to buy Research roles. I was wondering what is your policies are when doing reseacrch.

    • RE: Don's Axis stratgey

I have two problems with my Germany right now

      1. On the first turn I attack the North sea with 2 Subs, a Transport, 5 Infantry and a Bomber. Afterwards I don’t know what to do with my Luftwaffte. Do I countinue to run Kamazazie attacks against Transports or do I use them on the mainland.

      2. I have a problem with taking Africa, usually my Opponent attacks my mediteranning fleet with a Bomber, Sub and Battleship. I don’t know what to do

    • RE: AMAZING ALLIED STRATIGY

Anthony (tonyb) you do not win every time. I win more then half the time except when Matt plays Germany

And for everybody else: Tonyb and I are in the same play group. And hes right, most of the time its a race between Japan(myself) and USA(tonyb).

    • RE: Don's Axis stratgey

Yeah If I buy a IC on the asian mainland then I’ve wasted money on transports. As for Germany I just keep buying Infantry and but them on Germany, Italy, France and E. Europe and wait for Japan to threaten the USSR. This usually happeneds at around turn 4. At this point Germany begins to take a more agressive role. I usually buy 1-2 tanks every turn during at this point and come at USSR from both sides.

    • RE: Don's Axis stratgey

Yeah, by buying four tanks a turn Then I’ll have too many armor and not enough infantry fodder. As for the Japanese IC, I think we found out that transports are way better.

    • RE: Don's Axis stratgey

Actually this strategy plays out pretty well in my play group. Usually the game becomes a race to see who dies first Russia or Germany

      1: The Germany Front
Germany begins to slowly fall back until there is only the german capital left. Germany waits until the Japanese Subs from the Brazil/South African Factory keep the American troops off European shores. Then Germany begins to take back France and Italy. By this time the USSR is investing all it’s reasources into dealing with the Japanese threat and then Germany begins to move to the east

      2: The Russian Front
With the Extreme amount of Colonization by the Japanese of Brazil, South Africa, Madagascar, Austrila, New Zealand, and Hawaii. Japan has enough rescources to build subs in the alantic and troops in Asia. However Russia does not have nearly enough economic power to fight the Germans to the West and the Japanes to the East

In many cases the German player and the Russian player fall at the same time. In this case the Japanese player stops attacking with her subs in the alantic and only builds troops on Asia in an attempt to liberate germany

    • RE: Don's Axis stratgey

Thanks for your help. Perhaps now I won’t build a german fleet and just use Japanese subs from Brazil/South Africa
