How about this:
Russia starts with Industrial Technology (with the rule that infantry cost 2.5 ipcs – i.e. still 3 ipcs for 1 infantry, but only 5 ipcs for 2 infantry).
Germany starts with both Super Subs and Jet Power
UK starts with Long-Range Aircraft
Japan starts with both Super Subs and Jet Power
US starts with Long-Range Aircraft
Do this seem fair?
It’s nice to send over a bb for a bombardment too – on AUS.
I suggest taking them (AUS & NZ) A.S.A.P. – UK will be down 3 ipcs (and JAP up 3 ipcs) for several turns, if not the entire game.
I think this would make the US to STRONG. US could easily hold-on to Asia with just a little help from RUS & UK. Or the US could move to defend IND – thus, allowing UK to build a turn 1 IC. Plus, JAP wouldn’t be able to Pearl – thus, the US could either pull it’s entire fleet to the Atlantic or easily build up a fleet to destroy the entire JAP fleet within a couple of turns.
It would also allow UK to sink the GER navy and perhaps take out most of the GER Afrika Corps. The UK navy would also be to powerful with just it’s first round purchases. Though GER could easily take KAR, GER would be screwed relatively soon – with the shuck-shuck already established in turn 1.
With this said – the Allies would have an even GREATER advantage in the game.

Blitzing is not allowed through neutral territories. Do you play some kind of optional or “House Rule” that allows you to?
No … you don’t have to register – just download it and play. You can’t play against the computer – only other people. I suggest that you download everything first and then review everything. After that, ask what questions you still have.

You simply plug in your e-mail address and your opponents. Next, you plug in the territory you’re attacking, your units and your opponent’s units. Then, Dicey rolls for you and e-mails the results for each round to both you and your opponent – simultaneously. You way to cheat.

Are you playing Russia Restricted?
This will determine whether you should build sum tanks right away or not. If you are playing Russia Restricted – it’s best to buy all infantry for the 1st couple of rounds (and perhaps a tank if 2 ipcs are left over).
In either case – it’s good to destroy the entire UK fleet and move sum additional troops to Africa. Definitely try and take Egypt! It’s also good to try and keep the German bomber in W. Europe, to destroy any transports (if 3 or less) in the E. US Sea Zone. You may also want to move the S. European AA gun to E. Europe to help detour any Russian attack, but this is purely circumstantial (depends on several factors).
I agree – historical accuracy shouldn’t be the main concern … the game is no fun if everytime you play the Allies ALWAYS win. Change the game to make it more balanced, and MOST importantly FUN!!!
How about making AA guns transportable (is that a word?). – i.e. they can be transported at the capacity of 1 aa per transport. Also, when the transport is attacked while the aa gun is loaded – the AA gun fires as usually. The AA may not be taken as a casualty … and if the transport is sunk – so too is the AA. This is similar to the W@W rule (I think?).
This gives AA guns an added feature … and allows an added method of protecting your transports and other navy units.

I believe that phrase was meant for to be included at the end of the Heavy Bombers tech – I fixed the previous post so that it now reads correctly!
