@mike141500 they would be safe until Germany goes to war, at least. We had a game where Germany aligned Argentina super distracting for US kept them busy for 3 or 4 turns where they could’ve been using their stuff to fight in Europe

@mike141500 usually it’s the Soviets that can get more units on the Manchuria border more easily without sacrificing units for other activities pre 1939. This is no issue.

@mike141500 I’m going to say no because Partisans as far as I remember, do not actively defend in combat.

@mike141500 I believe that unless it says so, there is no limit on how many a nation can field. Just like all other units, there is not an upper limit. While there may be per turn limits, there is not a per board limit.

They changed the rules. Ignore what is on the chart. As long as you have your original capital, you can do diplomacy. It still favors the Axis as they have more money to work with early game but it’s not like you’re screwed as the Allies or Comintern.

Any nation can remain neutral if it is not attacked or does not attack first. And a declaration of war by another power is not a declaration of war by the power that is attacked. Even though it would attack the agressor, it is not considered to be aggression. If played badly, USSR could be in great troubles declaring war on all Axis powers by itself. But who knows, you might have a lucky day 🍀

      No. Page 32, 7.4 Lend-Lease, “A player may lend-lease: …One military unit.”

Note the list of “Units” starting Page 49, 12.2 Units.

Note the list of “Facilities” starting Page 53, 12.3 Facilities.

@mike141500 Usually it ends up giving the allied power some more income increases. For the Axis, nothing happens, and the Soviets are the only commie.

UK and France are interesting, b/c if you attack one, the other goes to full income, but not war. You or them have to DOW. Germany can use that to remove the US’s bonus from Germany attacking the UK to force the UK to DOW them first.
For the US, it gets bonuses from attacks on France or the Commonwealth, but never directly enters the war due to that attack, only by reaching full income due to a bonus from the attack.
