I used a really dark blue for the Pro-Allied, so there isn’t any confusion with the French pieces. Red seemed to fit the Axis.

I E-mailed IL to make it a sticky on the Global 40 tread, I think that’s probably where it should be.

Haven’t posted in here in awhile… Coming up on mid-season now… Hate to say it but the Spurs are looking good! Orlandos addition of Hedo, Richardson, Areanas and Clark has seemed to be working. Won 6 straight and beat the 2 best teams (Spurs and Boston). If Hedo shines then I think we’re going to be a huge threat…

Damn Miami has picked up some speed too…

I wish we could’ve picked up Blake Griffin and Chris Paul… I can always wish…

Yeah that sounds interesting too. Seems like it would be more difficult to do on the western U.S. only because theres normally a strong Navy present at all times, in the games I play anyway.

He’s focused all his money for America on the Pacific which is why it I think this is going to work. The U.K. might swarm me, they’ve got 2 fighters and 2 bombers waiting to do something, but I think I’ll still have enough to take it.

No npc chart, setup. Spain neutral, neutral afrika = british, birma was one zone instead of 3.

Tell me about it…. I’ll never understand why they put the IPC counter ON the board… Should’ve been seperate like the oringinal, made more room to make the countries a little bit bigger.

Thats why I’ve recently bought AAP40, next week AAE40! Then you’ve got to worry about the board being too massive and not how small it is haha.

I think the reason they put the ipc tracker on the board is to have less things in the box to intimidate a new player which is what the game is geared towards. Overall it is still a great game and my favorite WWII themed game.

Hahahaha, from that point of view yes I understand. I think the only way to truely understand the game fully is to learn from someone first hand in person.

That is how I learned. My uncle and brother used to play the 2nd edition in the 80s but I was too young and it didn’t appeal to me. A few years ago I wanted to try the game so I bought a used copy from ebay and had my uncle come over. I have been hooked ever since.

Thanks for the welcome! I’ve been busy with work and haven’t taken pictures yet haha. I have however finished Germany and now working on America… Germany in my opinion looks 100 times better than Japan… I should’ve used the Russians as my starters since the vast majority of their pieces just sit in the box…

Yeah I too plan on buying AAP40 and AAE40… Painting all those will keep me busy for lord knows how long.
