Also that majors can be build on 2 IPC territories, that too was weird. Someone should monitore Djensen’s rewievs, since he obvious dont have the grip on it, man. Dude that is pretty sweet. If I had the game I would definitely consider getting a map like that, not only is it bigger but the colors look richer as well.

No, the maps aren’t designed to work that way, though there’s nothing stopping you if you really want to do it. I’ve actually tried playing with them joined at the US, and it really messes with your thinking in central Asia. It’s just better to do it the traditional way, with the map edges in an area of the globe that doesn’t see much action.

Yeah, anyone out there that has used coolstuffinc.com before, do they ship early so you get the game by the release date or do they wait to ship until after release? Anyone that knows how they work please post, it would be greatly appreciated.
Man I cannot wait to get this! Hopefully the initial games have gone well……I’m kinda miffed that they skimped a little on some stuff, I know that they could have added some stuff, the game is ONLY $90 MSRP, and between $60-$80 preorder! And I’m being very sarcastic on ONLY!!!

Ok ok, I’ll post something……I personally don’t mind if there is a new A&A game every year. I have not gotten one since the AAP and AAE games (that I liked). In all just buy the ones that interest you, if you really have to collect them I wouldn’t buy more than a copy of each, if you aren’t going to play then why pay for more?
Yeah from what I have heard as well, the amount of territories you need to cross from Berlin to Moscow is around six. Sounds like a good number to me. Also I would love to see the Atlantic widened just enough to where you had to drop off troops in Britain before crossing the Channel over to Europe.
I’m surprised this game does not get more time being advertised, it is a great strategy game that is fun and not too intense in the area of rules and stuff like that. Perfect for people that want a little more than what Risk has to offer.
Ok, I think I have a solution. Remember that we are playing the game starting in 1940, so Larry is going to set the game up historically at that point, and from there out we play the game and whatever happens, well….happens. I think we let things be at 1940 and whatever happened afterward is all up to us, so unless the French player wants to defect over to the Axis, he stays in the game. I’m sure that can’t happen in the actual rules but we can always do house rules for this.
Ah, memories of the original….I haven’t played that in years. I think it would be hard to go back to that after AAE and AAP, they really add some new dimensions to the game.
