      O yah!

    • RE: AAE-Italy

      A few tips

1 Give the italians Northern Italy, Sothern Italy, Sicily, Corsica, Sardinia, Tunisia, Libya, Morocco, Algeria. Maybe Germany could also divvy up Greece, Austria and Yugoslavia between the 2 axis.

2 Make Sicily worth 1, North Italy worth 5, Germany worth 12
      Italy IPCs=12-16 Germany IPCs=32-36

3 Giv them what Germany normally gets in their countries except for a man on Sicily and 4 inf in North Italy
For their navy giv them 1BB, 1 dest., and 1tranny in tyrhenian sea, and MAYBE a sub in the adriatic

4 Use the japanese peices and control markers (or make your own markers) for the italians. you could buy a set of pieces on ebay or somewhere and paint them some other color such as blue or yellow or purple

      5 I think Italy would go 2nd

Germany would have complete control of the distribution of any oil money conquered. Also there might be an “Italian patriotic war” which allows Italy to assume any German material on the land or in their port.

    • RE: Axis and Allies: Risk style

Because on the risk board there are absolutely NO seazones. I tried playing it on the risk board once, but it wasn’t that great. only land and air units were in the game and you couldn’t fly from africa to australia because you can’t fly over water.

    • RE: Here some rules for USSR

It might be a good idea, but you definitely need a pronunciation guide for bolshevickizationism…
      …or whatever it is…

the stalinwhatchacallit thing would make it awfully hard for the allies to win against a decent german, and in A&AE it would eliminate the need for the soviet patriotic movement.

    • RE: Germans taking the united states

I actually think it is fully possible.
you concentrate most of your efforts at russia but buy 1 tranny per turn and keep it by italy. when you have 4-7 fully loaded trannies you move out like your going to attack britain.

      Thamor
I sure don’t recall there being enough stuff to take out 5 art. and 7 inf.
If it’s nessesary, you could always land a fighter or 2 in finland.

You can pick up and drop off dur ing combat moves, if the dropping off creates combat (Amphibious Assault)

    • RE: Help on kicking out germans

What i would do depends on how many infantry and artillery russia has.

If Russia has 20-25 inf, i get art and use my mass atacks tooverwhelm the german advances

if russia has lots of art but no inf than get inf.

if you are going to lose one of your industrial complexes (particularily Leningrad), retreat your aa gun so that britain, Usa, maybe even russia can bomb them easily
try to hold on to archangle so your convoy will provide income

    • Strategy for Japan

This is a very easy strategy for Japan

Every turn, buy Transports, infantry and subs.
Do not buy very many subs, and make sure you have enough men to fill most of your transports.

On your first turn, attack the Dutch East Indies and the philipines. Attack pearl harbour and the carrier @ Samoa. move your battleship from the caroline islands to protect your carriers. Use any unused transports to reinforce French Indo-China and Siam.

From then on reinforce Korea, Shangtung, Manchuria, the philipines, and Japan with the infantry that you are buying.

You will recieve several VP the first few turns but then you will end up at 1 per turn as the us gets more involved.

Wait out for the rest of the game until your @ 22VP

    • RE: Rule Clarification, let the debate rage!

The way I play it, When someone runs out of, say, trannys, we take another country’s tranny and stick a NCM under it to indicate that it does NOT belong to the country that we took it from.

Sorry, I had some trouble articulating that.

    • THE MOON!!!

Anyone ever tried adding the moon?

You could take the board from the ‘Risk 2210ad’ game! Maybe have moon inf that cost 4ipcs. obviously, no naval stuff could go on the moon. oh, to get to the moon, you could have space craft. (see the end to find out more) theres no air on the moon, so no planes, but you could use moon inf, art, tanks, and inf. (moon inf are like marines- when there on the moon they attack @2) since theres no planes you could have other shuttles or something to be like air units. and if you have all that, why not build space stations? would space stations be like units or restricted, buildable terretories or both? there probably would not be combat in space

      Space Trannys
      Cost: 18
Movement: From earth or moon to orbit or vice versa
      Atack Factor: 0
Defense Factor: 1 when landed on earth or moon
Capacity: 1 tank or 2 art, inf, aaguns, minf (moon guys(like marines for moon))

      Space Bomber Thingys
      Cost: 18
Movement: From earth or moon to orbit or vice versa
Atack Factor: 3 when @ moon
Defense Factor: 1 when @ moon or earth

      Space Stations?
      Cost: ?
      Movement: None
      Atack Factor: 0
      Defense Factor: 0
Capacity: 3tank or 6 art, inf, aaguns, minf (moon guys(like marines for moon))
Docking capacity?: 2-3 of any space ship thingy
      Would they…
      be built in space?
      contain Factories??

      Make suggestions Please

      What you talkin’ 'bout!?!
Italy is a great idea. :D

      A&A Europe

1 Northern Italy, Sothern Italy, Sicily, Corsica, Sardinia, Tunisia, Libya, Morocco, Algeria. Maybe Germany could also divvy up Greece, Austria and Yugoslavia between the 2 axis.

    • RE: Don's Axis stratgey

Yes i have heard of it
Wouldn’t the “Nazikazi Version” belong in the house rules forum?

      The Nazikazi Rule Variation -
On Round 4(specifically, G4 and J4), at no IPC cost,
Germany and/or Japan may click his/her/their heels together 3x,
      hold his/her/their left nostril(s) closed
      using his/her/their right thumbnail
with the back of his/her/their right hand
      resting on his/her/their forehead,
      and sprinkle magic pixie dust
      (doggie doo will suffice)
      over his/her/their opponent(s)
      (NOT the gamepieces.)
Upon completion of the above …
if still alive, conscious and able to
      continue the game …
      the German and/or Japan player
      may chose to place either
3 carriers with six ftrs in one appropriate sz or
3 ICs with 3 ftrs apiece in 3 separate appropriate territories.

Note : The current argument is whether to amend the N rule
      to allow a player to choose 2 carriers(etc.) and 1 IC(etc.)
      or 1 carrier(etc.) and 2 ICs(etc.)!

Have you ever actually played this variation, Xi?
