Just curious, could someone who owns A&A Anniversary post some pics of the Italian tanks? I tried looking online for them, but I couldn’t find any pictures.

RE: Help a Broke AA fan get Anniversary
I was planning on buying a copy of A&A 1942 and some Italian pieces. I talked to an A&A veteran and he suggested getting Europe & Pacific 1940 and just printing out the map. I have yet to print out the map for anniversary, but so far I am enjoying the games themselves. And I’m glad I made this decision. Not only will I be able to play anniversary, but I can also play Europe1940, Pacific1940, and Global1940.

RE: Just How Old Are We Axis and Allies Players?
I think I was 13 or fourteen when I first played. I am now 18 and I still love it.

RE: R1 Norway Attack! HOT or NOT?
What I like to do is attack West Russia with everything. I can, excluding some units to defend Caucasus. I try to completely crush the Germans in West Russia so that I have as many surviving units as possible. Hopefully then Germany cannot take that back, because it is really hard to keep attacking if I lose my tanks and artillery.
To compensate with the threat of Japan, I move pretty much everything in the east to the western front. This forces Japan to spread out (harder for J to attack), but lets me keep a line of defense against them. I keep four inf in Yakut SSR and two in Novosibirsk to either move north if J tries to attack there, or to move into China if J attacks there instead.
I have not yet tried taking both West Russia and Ukraine on R1, but then I don’t have quite as much time to play as many other members on this site. I will definitely consider it in my next game though.

RE: First time playing A&A Europe 1940
Don’t ever capture paris - you’ll see why.
Advertise to your opponent, if you want to stress him out, all your “Possible angles” of attack… all the territories you can take… he’ll likely try to underdefend everything, and forget what actually matters.
Why wouldn’t you take Paris? It’s not really that difficult, and every turn you don’t take it you’re denying yourself France’s IPCs and letting them build up more (probably not a huge amount, but it’s so easy to stop early).
Depending on who you capture Paris with, when you do it, and when the Axis takes it back, it could be bad. For example, if Great Britain liberates France (their capital, not the other territories), Italy can ignore it. If the US doesn’t have a lot of units to reinforce it, France will collect their income of X IPCs. Then, on Germany’s turn, they can take France back, not only gaining back the income of the actual territory, but also getting all the IPCs that France is holding at that time.
