If you want to then you can. I played with just Europe using tech and it works just fine.

IL, you started this one. You showed up, without any evidence, and said, “It’s a carrier”. Then you started trolling anyone who disagreed. Just because it might have the same capabilities as a carrier doesn’t mean it’s primary function is as a destroyer. As for the whole “I’m going to piss you off because it entertains me” it just makes you look like an idiot and lowers everyone’s respect for you. So stop trying to be cool, and contribute to the conversation instead of bringing it down.

Or, you can do what my opponent did in my last game and buy 5 Battleships for Germany. Needless to say, Russia rolled right over him.

@Imperious:
I count four pronouns, only two of which have clear antecdents. What are the antecedents for the “you” in the second sentence and the “you” in the fourth sentence?
It appears that I bother you and this makes me happy to no end. :-D
2. The Priggish Grammar Troll

No matter what the discussion is about, the Priggish Grammar Troll will ignore the argument and pick on the one word you used incorrectly, like alot or misuses of they re, their and there.
Yes EPIC WIN INDEED..
Here is the parade to prove it…
Um… ok.
They re should be they’re.

It is referred to as a flat top destroyer. Just because it doesn’t look like one of the Japanese destroyers from A&A doesn’t mean it isn’t.

Or, if you roll a 1 you get to choose anything from the first breakthrough chart, and if you roll a 2 you choose anything off of the second chart.

An IC in India is usually a bad idea. It requires aid from Russia, who can’t afford to spend it and it is easily taken by Japan. Then they get a free IC, and UK loses 15 IPCs.

Ahh… but in what year? Or, would it not matter?
As soon as possible :-)

If I was Germany, I would immediately nuke Italy until there was nothing left.

Project x-ray was a plan that the US came up with to drop bombs filled with bats on Japan. The bats were fitted out with incendiary devices that would set fire to Japanese cities. Fortunately for the bats, the plan deemed too expensive, and the project was dropped. On a side note, escaping bats set fire to an air base in New Mexico.

RE: Anniversary of Manassas today in 1861.posted in General Discussion
I’ve always found it interesting that the confederate army at Manassas was the Army of the Potomac, while the Union army was the Army of Northeastern Virginia. It’s like afterwards, both commanders decided to switch names. :-)

Overall, not a bad tour and was really cheap! If you have an hour or two, I recommend stopping by.
I think it will take more than a few hours to go from the US to Japan :-D
As for “small people” dropping bombs, in 1942, the town of Brookings Oregon was bombed by the Japanese. It was bombed by a plane launched from a submarine. The plan was to have large groups of these submarine launched planes hit shipping around the Panama Canal.

I like the idea, but if the axis is winning, virtually all development stops. I think that it shouldn’t be so dependent on what the other power is doing. If the allies hasn’t been winning, technology still would have developed.

They didn’t take Caen correct. Nobody got their objectives on D+1
There where 5,000 Canadians raiding the Dieppe harbor, of which about only 1,500 returned to England that day.
Hello joke.
Churchill always uses ‘colonial troops’ for invasions he has little confidence in.
In other words, he used them all the time.

Great job on the maps! I’d like to point out one thing. New Delhi is included as a city in India, but it wasn’t made capital until after WW1.

I had ANZAC take a pro allied Arabia one game. The built an IC and started buying tanks. By the end, an army of Aussies was outside of Berlin.
