Can we migrate off build 2984 of 1.9 though? Looks like I jumped the gun on that one - it is neither backwards nor forwards compatible and it’s doing my head in having four different builds of Triple-A going at once.

I did have my eye on that blitz, yes… poor mel gibson should have been in the Expendables  :-P Japan could fall soon too, and that adds another city to the Euro axis victory conditions in BM.

Wittman is one tough nut to crack. I need to make something happen quickly in that game.

Downloads from the forum are working again.  I believe that is game, I dont see how you can take back any VC’s on the europe board.  Good game!  Totally pulled that one out of my butt.  You dominated me in the pacific, and I was real worried for Egypt after I took out Russia and lost so many air force units.  I like the BM except for those pesky Chinese spawning all over the place.  Japan should get a bonus for owning all of China or dont have a unit spawn but the territory still converts.  Fun Game!

Yeah, Id say so. I am trying to figure out these dice and the RNG. I keep loosing battle where im 90% to win, or have a large TUV swing, just not sure what else i can do.

Thx for the game, Majikforce! Was a good one, you gave it everything, and I acknowledge that I had a lot of luck in quite a few of those smaller Asian land battles, playing an important role there. I think it could have gone the other way in Asia relatively easy with more normal die for you.

Wish I were that great, but there are players out there who eat me for breakfast :)

About Egypt, I didnt mean that you just got lucky, you had to attack at that stage, and one in four is nothing I can really complain about when you win. You would not attack in a normal situation, so if I give you this “big” a chance, its my own fault.

Hm, neutral crush, I needed Spain as a base, cant say I plan for that in every Ally game. One probably should? I think it just happened that I had a chance on Turkey at the same time.

As for Japan, I was sort of glad when you went west with the navy. It was going to be trapped, eventually. I dont know the right answer, but I would probably have stayed and try as much interruption as possible. The German navy, cant remember now but you maybe could have blocked me longer from raching Denmark and Norway? Where did I defeat it, after taking Denmark? That was free reign, after that.

Without looking at history, I really cant say where you lost the game, I was totally misjudging Moscow and was more than surprised that I lost it so quickly. My failed attempt on Novgorod was key in that, was too stingy with the inf. I never felt like cruising to victory. But I also never felt mortally threatend in Europe, and with the game progressing you had many spots to cover. Maybe you should have invested more in defending mainland Europe and in the Japanese fleet.

One thing the game proved yet another time is that I lack killer instinct, I tend to play for gradual world dominance, I like long games, but having an eye for closing the deal quickly…not so much.

In the end, the most important thing was likely that I had the good roll when I needed it to prevent the German invasion of London.

As far as fantasy football goes, as long as the ONE time I beat you is in the playoffs, you can have the other win! :)

I think I’ve read it should be possible with the US to take back London and give Germany a hard time, but its just a huge task, and gives Japan so much space. I have no idea if it would’ve been possible but the thought of the task just made me sick :P. Thats part of why I used a lot of time for each turn, just postponing the turnmaking XD. I would really like a rematch, but I’m in the same spot as you, too many games^^. I can post the results. gg

I think I am going to concede. I don’t see anyway to dig out of my hole.  The Allies will just slowly choke me out economically.  Great game play!  Really nice pacific coordination.  I will never build the greece factory again.  Total waste!  And I learned my lesson with my German stack.  Great job.  Maybe I will see you in the playoffs.  We should play again in the next league year.  Good luck in your other games.  I will post the result.

Thank you for posting the win. It has been a lot of fun playing with you, and you REALLY have given me a hard challenge! I also think the allies will win this game. I also think if Germany somehow managed to can open for Japan I think the allies will take hawaii back the same turn. Potentially 8 japan units there. Counter: 3 American bomber and armor + inf. Anzac 3 art + 3 inf + 1 armor. With the americans in queensland and potentially 7 subs in the pacific I think (not calculated it in detail) that American clear the way, both for itself and for anzac. Then I think the Norway campaign has been VERY destructive for Germany. Down 8 ipc but also, must send units west instead of where they belong, east. I think Italy and Germany has given the british a really hard time in the med. Maybe you should have been more agressive here? I don’t think the German factory in greece is a total waist. It has been a struggle for UK. But I do agree it was destructive for Germany in Caucasus. Yeah in the initial battle you lost too many units but I would have continued to the bitter end in the counter. I am not sure how solid my pacific play is with staging at java. I dont have control and you are really close to snapping the win.

Not sure if I am signing up for the additional playoffs. But a new game in 2016 will be fun! Good luck to you!

Thanks for the game.  I had alot of fun. It would of been interesting to see what those roaming Russians could do.  It’s always tough when the axis get such an economic advantage.  Losing Calcutta turn 4 really bolstered Japan’s game.  I learned alot about the game.  I would offer a rematch but I’m trying to thin out my number of games.  New work hours are really cutting into my game time for now.  Take care and be safe!  And I look forward to a future rematch.

I still have the same problem.
It allways kicks me out on the forum whenever I post my turn and most of the time it is actually taking a minute to post my turn.
It’s weird. You never know if you have posted your summary and I allways have to login my self after each summary post on A’nA.org

Seems to be not a TripleA problem. These issues occured after switching the forum server. djensen is aware of it.
