maybe they are waiting for new pieces so we can have a complete set of french and itlian pieces to complement the new pieces coming with 1941

if you search around the forums a bit i think coach has plans for all of the things you are asking for(UK,italky,Japan 2 ect ect …), so help support HBG so they can continue to bring us great products.

i agree why would you need a new color for free french when you should just keep them the default french color, or at least use the default color for one of them. my group we dont even need to have any difference in color since Vichy doesn’t move we just use the Vichy token on territories to represent Vichy units

any word on what the front runners are for the french pieces? also wanted to ask if a cruiser can be added the 1939 set up needs 3 and OOB 1940 only has 2

my group plays, defender can retreat during the second round of combat. soo after the attacker has done its damage for the second round defender has an option to fight back or retreat

yeah i use a similar rule to this one when i play

im going to have to disagree. i tried using 1/72 pieces on my board and it just doesn’t look right, it does not have an A&A feel to it.the scale and color don’t match with the rest of the A&A pieces either, plus i like how infantry pieces have a round base to it. I mean if your going to use your painted 1/72 toy soldiers than thats cool, but please don’t take away the infantry from future sets that we need from the rest of us who want an infantry pieces with an actual A&A feel to it.

the idea for a french foreign legionnaire would be great for people you use Jeremy free french rule. and like the rest of the major powers, the french need a commando type unit that can para drop and the beret you infantry sounds like it would fit perfectly

and there going to be a light blue neutral set. which would be alright for me, since most house rules has vichy act as a neutral.

2 infantry would be nice, the french beret could maybe be a commando unit,and having a french foreign legionnaire would be nice.

i still like the r35 for light tank the turret looks further back than the H35, making it unique looking

the D520 is an unique looking fighter with its cockpit pretty far back, plus it was probably the french best fighter at the time

the ms406 was the most numerous fighter the french had, maybe this could be early war fighter while the d520 could be the late war fighter? this is just based on what the french produced before and during the war

char b1 should be a heavy tank.

still like the d2 a bit more, it was actually used in the Elite troops under de Gaulle.

the char D2 would be nice to filll the medium tank role

i think the  Renault R35 looks better for a light tank,but that’s just imho

the ms406 fits better than the D510. i dont know why you would want to use 510 instead of the D520. or the Bloch MB.150.

the bloch 210 looks cool, it is blockish making it look different.

i have a question though, will the another french set add maybe an air transport a special ops piece that can be paradropped, maybe fill in the blanks for the french navy and maybe another fighter?
