Personally, I prefer the chips that came with 1942.2 because they have a smaller circumference, thus saving space on the board (albeit a tiny amount). However, they don’t grip together as well as any of the older types.

The website is showing the new Pac40.2 selling for £64.29 delivered. I must say, that isn’t bad at all. Couldn’t find Eur40.2 on there yet though…

Hi Wittmann, I take it you mean Pac40.2? Did you get a good bargain? :-)
CWO Marc, thank you - that is much appreciated. :-)

Wow, thanks a lot for these pictures CWO Marc! :-) I for one am curious to see a pic of the new Anzac infantryman compared next to the other infantry pieces. Any chance of that please?

I wasn’t even aware that China ever could buy Tech! :-o

RE: Any players in dublinposted in Player Locator
Can I recommend that all new players put their details down in the ‘Master Find Players List’? This is really useful for players to find each other and get a game going! It’s worked for me and I’ve recently had a face-to-face game with two newcomers to the forum, which I couldn’t have done without this aid. Here’s the list, which is updated fairly regularly:

hkytown1, I’d be grateful if you could post some pics too as I’ve been hearing a lot about this ‘sharpee’ or ‘sharpeeing’ and am curious to see what it’s all about, thank you. :-)

But if Germany has conquered all of Russia then surely she can use the old Soviet ICs? Or am I mistaken?

RE: .posted in Axis & Allies 1941
Not much of a success story, but I bought a 2nd copy of this game and gave it to my best friend who’s been slowly getting hooked on my AA50 and 1942SE recently. He was very grateful for the game. I did not tell him that I’d rummaged it for all the good sculpts first! :-) (obviously I replaced them with other bits)

RE: Feature requests for TripleAposted in TripleA Support
@ loz
1. I don’t think i will be changing it, there isn’t really enough room.2. I can probably find a way to increase the default size by a little bit
3. Actually i don’t really like this idea
Thanks Veqryn. In response to that I would say:
1. That’s a shame. Can you at least make the scrollbar moveable? Otherwise, I can’t see all the units involved in a prospective embattled territory.
2. Thank you. I only ask that all the relevant info pertaining to a battle be immediately available to view in the combat screen, without having to move/adjust anything.
3. Why don’t you like this idea? It is intuitive and I think it would be a great improvement. Less micro-management, less time consuming.
Thanks again.

RE: COMBAT DICE UPDATE - FMGposted in Other Axis & Allies Variants
Hey guys, is there anywhere I can order FMG Combat Dice in seperate sets? I don’t want the grey Germany, or Canada, or Italy (as I already have it).
Thanks very much.

RE: FRANCE and ANZAC COMBAT DICE - HELP us design them!posted in Other Axis & Allies Variants
Good post knp7765, I appreciate your thoughts. I for one would certainly be interested to see the OOB 1941 Tigers compared in a photo next to the FMG Tigers, just so we can see the difference in size.

I think the lesson we all really need to take away with us is basically to not trust the photo images on the back of the boxes. :-)

RE: Pacific 1940 2nd Editionposted in Axis & Allies Pacific 1940
I remember when PAC and Eur 1940 were originally released here in the UK they were going for around £60-65 retail price. Somehow I’m getting the feeling that these new versions are going to be about £70-odd at least. We’ll see, eh.

RE: Why are the allies so gimped lately? Why transports suck?posted in Axis & Allies 1942 2nd Edition
Sean, you’re absolutely right - I meant “Transports can defend at 1 but hits cannot be assigned to sea units”. My bad. Â :-)

I like that Transports can defend at 1 but hits cannot be assigned to air units, pretty cool.
