2 or les is OK but some artillery like Long tom and 88mm canon must have specefic capabilities.
Long tom = Attacker first shot attack. In the first round of combat, on a roll of 2 or less, enemy lost 1 infantry without reply.
88 canon = German player can roll 1 die for each tank. On a roll of 1, enemy lost 1 tank.it may add confusion to the game, maybe if they were development tech options that improve artillery.
the 88 cannon sounds more like an anti-tank gun if used this way

but really, i think people who are spending this kind of money want the best game possible.not only is this a monetary investment but also an investment in time. a person needs to spend alot of time on an individual game to really learn it to get the most enjoyment out of it. i only want to invest my time and money in something worth while. that is why this thread is important and you should not shut it away by putting it where it doesnt belong.

if FRANCES capitol falls and IC captured or destroyed on G1, can FRANCE still build infantry or do the BRITS take everything over including IPCs?
If GEMANY fails to capture FRENCH capital on G1, can FRANCE build IC and place in another FRENCH tt anywhere on the board for future builds?

question on transports.
if your ships are attacked and transports are present the cannot be used to absorb hits. but if the attacker has subs or tac bombers can he target transports if destroyers are not present?

Yeah, well as far as the whole Rebel - Union thing in the United States … I don’t have an aversion to the South’s (Confederate States of America) flag. It is a part of history and I accept that. It has its purpose and it should be preserved. I even have one in my own home. (We don’t have it hanging on the porch though). What I don’t like is a bunch of Southerners who still think the war is on and that they should be seperated from the North. They are all delusional. The Union put the smackdown on and won the war. Yeah, maybe they still hold some novel grudge… They can get over it and accept the facts 140 some years later.
Granted it is not exactly the same, because Nazism was significantly more evil than the South was… and Nazism can be readily identified the world over.

any game can have naval bases. just implement that rule into your game. i borrow rules from all types of AA varients. if its a good rule and plays well use it, why not? if i didnt do that i would still be playing MILTON BRADLEYS 2nd edition rules.
At least with IL you wont get pathetic mistakes like WOTC seems to be making. Even if i decided to get AAE40, i would wait to see what the mistakes are. They are not going to use me and my hard earned money as a guinea pig , and sorry ill fix ya later. big bucks to spend here its got to be right
After seeing the pics of AAG40 so far, i think ILs map might be better and offer a more interesting game. i like the oil centers, big part of the game. i thing he has more tt in RUSSIA, awwesome. the only think i dont like(sorry IL) is that there is only 2 SZ from eastern US to BRITIAN and only one SZ that connects ITALY to NORTH AFRICA. i know he designed his game this way for specific reasons, but that bothers me. i want USA challenged in ATLANTIC in bringing troops across. same with ITALY/GERMANY in MED. AAG40 does seem to offer that. 5 SZ between US and BRITAIN, 2 SZ between ITALY and NORTH AFRICA.
I dont know. On one hand i would love the look of the schwastika on the AA map. Very powerful. great for gameplay.
on the other hand i never have had relatives and family members tortured and murdered on a mass scale under this symbol.
I dont think using it on the gameboard should directly cause someone to have emotional distress. it would be being used strickly in a historical context. only thing thou i worries me 60 yrs after the war that younger people become desensctised to the symbol and not associate it with the horrors it is connected with. I think pentagrams look cool, but i would never wear one around my neck becouse of what it represents to other people.
Has anyone compared AAG map with ILs 39 global map?
Its not cheap to have ILs map printed out. neither is purchesing AAP40 and AAE40. Cant afford to do both, which is better?
I see what IL is saying about the molds being of the more commonly used ships at that time. I was just stating it is rediculous to make a statement like the BISMACK and YAMATO are not iconic warships.
