if still interested in global give me a reply in chat
Still interested, but the forum chat doesn’t work on my side. Can you set up game thread and notify me. we can then chat there?
I’m still interested, but the chat doesn’t work on my side. some technical problem

Once you have studied these rules, we advice you to study the Axis & Allies Global 1940 House Rules Expansion.
@The-Captain
Is it really necessary to also having studied the rules expansion before being able to play with someone. Or should I be able to start without having studied the expansion?
@The-Captain said in Find Opponents Here!:
We suggest that you begin to study the Global 1940 rules since this A&A version is the most widely used.
Thanks again for your useful information. I have gone forward with your advice and started a solo game with Global 1940. - quite a difference from my experience with the orinigal game from 1984! …but exciting!
I actually downloaded the rules for A&A Pacific from the A&A.org site. Do I presume correctly that this is the correct rulebook to study for Global 1940 - or is there a better one?
Hi,
Thanks for your kind reply.
I’m actually playing a WWII revised solo and am easily beating the ‘Easy AI’.
I’ll start studying the ‘Global’ rules and meanwhile play a few more solo games in ‘Revised’ with ‘Fast & Hard AI’ versions, so I also get really acquainted with the Interface.
Then I’ll come back to here.
I just thougth that doing one by mail or by forum at the same time would give me some more time to think about my different moves.
I gladly follow your advice, but it might take a little more time before I’m ready to go for the ‘Global 40’.
@ Anyone
Hi quite new here. Played the tutorial and 1 online game (lost of course :) ).
Looking for someone who can introduce me to a game by either mail or forum - never done the latter ;).
‘Global’ might be a bridge to far for me for now(??), but the 3 games I played were ‘WW2 Revised’.
;)

Being new in the forums, I must have missed something. I cannot find your reply.
@barnee
sorry for my late response.
In the mean time I went throught the tutorial (easy) and I played an online game WW2revised …and lost of course.🙂
I have now started a solo game of WW2revised with ‘Easy AI’, but that might be too easy. I’ll see.
Any other suggestions?

Hi there,
I’m looking for a ‘by mail player’. Anyone available? I’m a newby at TripleA. The tutorial is a great help. Easy to learn. I’ve played the boardgame before, but never an electronic version. I might need some help to get started.
Open to other suggestions. for instance play by forum (never tried that).

Hi and aye-aye Captain. I tried to find out how to send a personal message in the forum but couldn’t find it.
… isn’it possible?
How do I contact him? Do I just make a new topic with @Cornelis-Post ?
@barnee
how do you suggest we proceed?
@AndrewAAGamer
thanks very much
@barnee
I’d be honored to be helped by you.
Hi there,
I am Lionel from Belgium, looking for a way to play A&A online.
I live in Ypres (WW1 battlefield) and I was a guide for WW1 for 20 years.
Ypres is close to Dunkirk (France).
Anyone with some time and patience for a newby to online A&A (going through the tutorial of TripleA) is most welcome to react.
Kind regards,
Lionel😉🙂
