London UK is still active but India remains under Axis control - Does that mean when the UK recaptures Dutch territory does the money also remain in limbo because India is under Axis control. Your post above makes it sound like you only mean recaptured Far East former British territory.

Ergo, if my side won the sea battle and only my guys remain - I can enter it during the noncombat phase.

Thanks for the information on the subs.

BTW, can more ships move into a space, during the noncombat phase, where a battle had occurred during the non-combat phase? I know on land you cannot do that with aircraft, but are the sea spaces different?

I did a quick search and could not find the answers to the following questions:

1. If a carrier uses its fighters to attack a land target, and loses those fighters in the process, then can another group of fighters that did not participate in the combat phase land on the carrier in the non-combat phase, thereby rebuilding the carrier’s air wing?

2. If a sub (and only a sub - no friendly DD present) attacks an enemy destroyer and a sub, does the enemy destroyer take the hit since the sub cannot ‘see’ the enemy sub since no friendly destroyer was present?
