Tried looking to find this question but didn’t find it so sorry if it was already asked. I have both Europe and Pacific 1st editions……is it worth it to buy the 2nd editions? Thinking about making them my Christmas present to me…  :-D

I have every piece from all the naval sets except USS Montana, Ryujo and HMS Hawkins from Surface Action. Plenty of extra destroyers, aircraft and a game board from one of the starter sets. If anyone is interested, make an offer before I put them up on Ebay. I will sell individual pieces if anyone is looking for something specific. Thanks.

Just picked up this and A&A Europe(1999) for $30. Both sets in excellent shape. Had both back in the day but sold 'em in 2002 when I moved. Don’t remember having the red Japanese and Russian pieces back then. Were they issued with first edition or later editions?

I know it was probably covered but when London falls and US is still not at war, it says they can declare war on any or all the Axis. Does this come at the collect income phase or can they begin combat operations immediately upon the turn following London falling?

Setting up a global game now to see how it looks and functions……halfway through set up and I need a beer break.  :-D

I pre-ordered in May but since I live in Hawaii, I don’t expect it until next week. I haven’t received anything from them on tracking, etc.

The 2 player starter set with the “improved rules”……are the models with that a separate group? I don’t see them on any of the checklists from the earlier releases or the new Condition Zebra.

Funny you mentioned spelling…I am not the smartest in the world but I do get anal about spelling and looking through the game I noticed more than a few spelling mistakes.

I am not impressed with the quantity…lack of IPCs, cardboard factories and AA. They also were stingy with the plastic chips and number of pieces for each country.

I will be sending in my complaint. :? :-o

Got mine on December 16th from coolstuffinc.com. $82 including shipping but that is to Hawaii. Ordered on the 14th. Can’t go wrong with them. Setting it up today to see how it plays.

Anyone on the Big Island who is interested in playing A&A or those who may be visiting and want to spend some time playing…LMK.

These miniatures are addicting! I was looking at some of the individual prices on Ebay for some of the models. Are the inflated prices due to production or just the usual hype for collectibles? I bought a case of War at Sea and scored some good finds. That seems to be the way to buy them. Kind of reminded me of collecting baseball cards seeing what was in the next box.

Hi, New the forum and I have a question on the scale of the naval miniatures? Is it 1/2400 like GHQ?
