Thank you both. I understood the reasoning, different strategies and so forth, I was just asking about the procedure itself. I was confused as to : round 1 add 1 partisan, round 2 add 1 partisan, round 3 the 2 partisans form up to make 1 inf. or round 1 add 1, round 2 add another and then they form up right away.

So do they share??? If U.K. rolls and gets radar does that mean Canada has radar, Fec has radar, South Africa has radar???

On the tech. sheet that gets downloaded with the setup it simply says commonwealth. Does this mean that any commonwealth entity could pay for research? And if a breakthrough is made does this mean that all commonwealth powers would have said tech? For example lets say that FEC gets war bonds, does this allow all commonwealth powers to roll for extra cash? Or just the individual power that rolled it?

If attacking a sz with ships and planes can the attacker retreat the planes and continue with only the ships attacking?

The IC in Calcutta is a minor, but it is a special minor in that it can produce 6 units. If it is taken by the axis it would be just a normal minor, but if it is retaken by FEC how much does it cost to upgrade back to full production?

If an allied unit lands on Crete, does Crete become allied right away or does the allied unit have to land in Greece first? If the allied unit were to land in Greece first would Crete and Corinth automatically become allied as well? Same question regarding Germany and Finland. In the rules Spain becomes pro-axis if Paris has fallen and the axis control Leningrad or Stalingrad or Moscow. If Spain is pro-axis and Germany were to march from Marseilles to Barcelona, would the troops in Barcelona activate for Germany or would Germany have to get to Madrid and then activate all of Spain?

The way I understand it, not counting the French Foreign Legion, when a territory goes Vichy any units in the terr. also become Vichy, they cannot move or attack, but can defend only. Is it the same for ships that become Vichy? Once they become Vichy and are moved to the nearest Vichy terr. can they move at a later time or do they have to stay in that sea zone and defend only? Also, if the Vichy terr. they are placed off of is taken by the allies do the ships remain or are they moved again to the nearest Vichy terr.?

Transports finally get to defend themselves again!! So, does this mean, for example, there are two lonely transports that are attacked by a single fighter, the fighter has to cotinue to roll in order to score a hit, and that if successful, it would only sink one of the transports, and would have to continue to attack until a second hit is scored?

The U.S. & Russia have to roll to get their production level in order to be able to declare war. Does this number have to be revealed to the axis or can the Americans and Russians keep it to themselves? I realize that it would have to be on the honor system, but if you can’t trust the people you play with, what is the purpose?

Thank you Coachofmany and SS for your replies. I am however confused. In Gargs’ post titled 6.1 Rule Clarifications Database, under the heading…. Official 6.1 Rulebook Clarifications Feb 24, 2014, I believe it is the 4th section, titled units, #3 ANZAC can build a minor on New Zealand and can build capital ships. So our group is really confused as to how we are to play it. If that has changed or was never actually a rule, we are not sure ,… hence the confusion.

They being Calcutta or they being Sydney or both???
