I think he means bad dice in the Atlantic is worse than bad dice in the East front on turn 1 for Germany, and I happen to agree.

It had to do with what you said. The expense of the sea units. And the subs are a huge pain in the butt for the Western Allies.

Whereas if you have bad G1 East front, it sucks, but the units are much cheaper to replace. U-boats are generally not replaceable. You’ll maybe buy one or two in the first two turns as Germany, but that’s it.

The balance of defending Moscow and attacking German territories is still very tricky as the Western Allies, and I certainly haven’t mastered it yet…

Bad luck continues for ze Nazis lol. @The_Good_Captain you might want to run the numbers here for Round 1. If too busy, no worries, I can do it myself…both your game with Ragnell and this one feel very warm for the Allies…

Wow, pretty lucky. 9 subs dead at the end of A1. Hard for me to feel bad for the Nazis tho, lol. Overall, very good turn for the Allies I would say. I actually got too lucky, since i was hoping for 1 less hit in Eastern Poland, but eh. We’ll see how the rest of the game goes.
