    • Question Regarding Multiple Attacks

      Hello everyone,

      Quick question. Say there are two Russian Infantry defending Archangel, I attack them with 4 fighters and 2 bombers, they are destroyed with no loss to my own forces. Now I know I cannot claim the territory because I have no land units that attacked with the planes, but could I then blitz through Angel into Moscow, from Karelia of course. Or is that against the rules? I am only curious as it would have ended the game a turn earlier, and I wanted to know if I could due this in future games.

      Thank you for your help in solving this matter

      @ABWorsham:

      I had to limit the poll, so semi automatic weapons had to go. They deserve a different poll.

      Of course, my mistake :-P

      Love buying lots of German Inf in my A&A games, just to see that advancing Wermacht and their K98’s :-D

      Here is a pretty cool video about it,lots of other vids on Bolt-action rifles if you search hard enough also.

      Surprised to see that the M1 Garand wasn’t up their, a secret Canadian gem :wink:

      I find killing the BB is very easy,you should have the sub for fodder, and a bomber and a fighter,normally it is dead off the bat.

      Started playing a couple of years ago, but picked it up again this year with the new AA50. Hopefully will be playing more frequently in the coming months.

    • RE: IC in Norway for Germany?

      @a44bigdog:

      Wouldn’t it be easier and cheaper for Germany to just take the Russian IC in Karelia if you wanted to produce units in that area?

      Heck it even saves ya 15 IPC’s :wink:

      I believe the Italians don’t own that territory because by that point in the war Britian had already re-claimed it.

      Purchases: 2 tanks, 7 Infantry

      I honestly haven’t found an effective G1 set of attacks for the 41 scenario, even if I do take Ukraine and the Baltic States, it still feels like a paper thin front, idk maybe someone will come up with a new set of plans for ze Germans.

      I had to choose the Luger :-D

      Every time I think of a German officer I immediately think of a luger, i don’t know why, just habits I guess.

    • RE: Naval Units: what is worth buying?

      Personally I prefer buying subs and destroyers (with transports for later use) for my first 2 turns. Just to have some numbers. I will buy cruisers if I plan on landing somewhere. And by then I dont mind spending the extra money on them because I already have enough of the other units. From there I will throw in the odd carrier and fighters if i can afford it. So far in AA50 I have only purchased a battleship with the USA. I just couldn’t justify buying one for anyone else, except for the game I played Japan, I had ‘plans’ to purchase one on J4, but other problems arose so…

    • RE: Plastic Playing Pieces

      I don’t like the length of the new Panther’s barrel, I have too many of them that I got OOB that were bent to hell.

      I even got a deformd midget Russian Bomber.Looks like someone took a modeling knife to it. :-P

      Is there no way that the map could be postd into a j.peg? Or w/e.

      Did you list the moves on the map itself IL?
