      And the rules list the facilities under the “unit profiles” heading and mentions that they are placed in the “Mobilize New Units phase”.
      But otherwise I could not find it referencing them as “units”. So thanks for the clarification

      I usually try to stick to the board situation after the dice are rolled, even when it’s hard, like in my German turn earlier. If I had built the submarine in 117 (as planned) instead of 116, you would have had a hard time taking Berlin (i.e. winning the 25% odds battle in SZ 116).

      But I absolutely see your point with the crowded territories on Laptop displays. Around Gibraltar and 94 it’s also always a struggle.

      And finally, I think the two situations are not fully comparable. I did not missclick the sub placement, I simply overlooked the original idea behind the sub buy while placing the units a few hours afterwards (as there was a scramble question in between).

      So all in all, I’m fine with redoing the Italian turn.

      Land Scramble: Path to Victory is designed to be played with “can scramble to land” turned on for both Airbases and Carriers. This option, however, may only be used for battles where the defending player has at least one unit in the defending territory–i.e., a scramble cannot be used to defend an empty land territory. The TripleA engine does correctly enforce this rule. However, at present, the engine still prompts players to scramble to undefended territories if the attack is amphibious. This prompt should be ignored since the engine will ultimately not recognize such a scramble, even if it is selected.

      Do factories and other facilities count as a defending unit? Currently, TripleA asks you, but the scramble does not actually happen, and I wonder if this is intended.
      AFAIK I read at some point that facilities are generally also considered units.
