@Young-Grasshopper this game is fun throughout and I highly recommend it to anyone a fan of world war 2 like me been playing it my whole life and I like playing both sides with victories for both but I find it more achievable to win as the axis I like using subs and fighters a lot to scare the English most of the time

@djensen hello my name is Stephen I’m 40 years old and still single I have been playing axis and allies my entire life but lately it’s been off and on I’m particularly fond of the setups in the game and currently have many copy’s of axis and allies I can play both sides of the factions but my favorites countries are mostly all of them

@crockett36 wow that was interesting I think if Germany is to survive in axis and allies global a fleet is definitely a must to have and they can do it too who was overall victor

@Guam-Solo I think if England is about to be conquered defend it with infantry and fighters and start attacking German ships if your America go for Germany first always japan is too far away while putting something in the pacific for awhile

@crockett36 my goal as the axis is to stick to one objective and that is if you go east plan for an invasion of Russia if you want to go west do sea lion and stick to it I find it easier to take out Britain than Russia sometimes unless you place factories with Germany right on the borders of Russia one in Poland or one in Romania

@shaper why not just develop a strategy to go after England instead of Russia much easier target in my opinion because Russia is to far I have seen England fall before in 1 game I played as the axis I took England with Germany then I took Russia with Germany the following turn had great luck that day probably my greatest game of axis and allies it was the 1986 classic version

@shaper I remember 1 game I played I had built subs and bombers with Germany and targeted British ships all the time and I had like 7 subs and 3 bombers the Japanese had 9 subs it is a must to have for both sides to have air force and subs and the axis were lucky on land against Russia so I had isolated Britain and closed I on Russia with the axis so a great victory for them it was the 1942 edition game we played

My games last a good 4 hrs at most

Re: My First Gameit was with the British and Russians all I did was build navy with them and then the Germans were into Russia then I just took their capital but America had collapsed somehow not paying attention then retook it with United Kingdom

Re: Spring 1942 - Fortress Europe Axis StrategyI remember one game I played as axis I built nothing but submarines with Germany and japan and it helped to secure the coastal territories from attack I also used the German subs had like 7 of them at one and 3 bombers and targeted the British fleet and in the pacific with japan I built up to 9 subs and had a huge air force with them and scared the Americans out of the pacific and my armies were victorious in Russia about to collapse even protected my transports really good

Re: What is artillery good for?I use artillery with the Russians a lot same with Germany they give your infantry a much needed boost on the attack

Re: Introduce or Re-Introduce Yourself (Dec. 2018) I have been playing this game and other board games practically my whole life recently I finished a game of axis and allies pacific the original one and thought that it favored the japan more I had held onto China and wiped their main units off of the mainland and rolled great but as America closed I on japan they took the India capital and they did not have enough soldiers to defend against attack by the huge Japanese Air Force which gives them an edge in battle if there are any strategies on how to beat the Japanese I’m all ears
