      here, this question shouldnt be hard, but I think it is good to check:)

      does a transport have to have one inf and one other land unit?
      if you are doing bridging, cant you only do on tank? it’s less than the maximum you can get.

      my friend says you HAVE TO have an inf when you are uploading things. you could have only one inf, but you cant have only one arm or art.

      is that true? thank you!

      hey, so I just played abother A&AR as allies and I lost.

      R1 I took over West Russia and Ukraine S.S.R, I thought it wasn’t a bad move.

      but then I felt strengthless, I was buying pure infantry, I dont know how to attack after the first round.
      (yes, most of the time I only use the 4 arms and 2 fighters I have at the beginning, w/ some infantry to help, so I dont loose the expensicve ones.)

      Germany started to push back, the player who used Germany just put everything in Caucasus,
      and then he just bought more and more tanks to support africa and attacks india.
      (it’s like he only wants to take Caucasus, not moscow, so he can start move his arms throghtout the mainland.)

      he doesnt do anything else w/ russia, he just left russia there, and russia was the one that fell last.

      i really dont know how to play russia (I play japan usually), so can any one tell me how to play it?
      I feel like after the fall of Caucasus, everything turns to against allies, include dices.

      how should I defend Caucasus??

      but since most of my friends’ve played this game for a while, I dont think they would like it.

      and…that means more pieces and a bigger gameboard are needed>"<

      so finally we finish the game, it took us totally like 24 hrs.
      I did not capture London, just because he said he doesnt want to play anymore OTL

      I didnt know you can place fighters on AC when you just buy it,
      oh well, another great lesson XD"

      so here’s a couple points I’m trying to get…

      Q1. if 2 subs V.S. 1 BB, and both subs fit during the opening fire step, the BB dies, right?

      Q2. what about if there’s 1 sub V.S. 1 BB? no matter what the BB gets to fight back, right?

      Q3. if there’re 2 subs V.S. 2 subs, then the attacking subs get to hit first during the opening fire step right?

      Q4. let’s say I have 1 DD and 2 subs, and enemy has 1 transport and 2 subs,
            only my subs get to hit during the opening fire, and his subs will just hit me during the regular combat? (step3/4, depends on he’s attacking or not.)

      thanks trihero, I think I’ll just go for as many BBs as I can.

      so just another quick question, bombardment can only be used when my transprots are off loading my land units right?
      (the BBs must be in the same SZ and did NOT conduct any combat.)

      I’m thinking about taking Bazil, but I dont know if that’s an good idea…

      since the allies have no sea unit at this point, just fighters, I can still have extra 3 ipcs from Brazil,
      as long as the allies dont have land unit off load from transports. (even my land units may be killed by the fighters, I can still have the territory.)

      I’ll probably go ask another question about opening fire @@a

      ok, so I was soooooo… you know, freak out, yes because of the infantries OTL

      I was axis, and my brother was allies, we two were playing AaA.

      and for all his Russia turns, he always buys 8 infantries, that’s right, and they are all in RUSSIA.
      even though I finally took over Moscow, still, I lost so many units.

      so, is there any good stratgy for attacking such kind of Russia player?
      he can just sit there and wait untill I attack him, and he just keeping buying more and more infantries = =++
      (I know, if I’m russia, I would probably done the same thing too…)

      so here’s another question@@a

      now the allies only have 3 vic cities: D.C., L.A., and London.

      I think I’ll go for UK’s fall first, so I guess all my military should just attack London.
      but he did the same thing again, he just defence and defence, there’s only 2 fights, 5 tanks, and HELLA infantries.

      what should I do? all my transports are so easy to be defeated by his fighters (the US has long rage aircrafts, and he bought hella fighters and place them in Greenland.)
      actually when he sees I;m buying naval units, he just starts attacking.

      I know it’s my fault to let him bought too many fighters, but what can I do for defeating UK for the situation I’m facing?

      @@a so the move “4” includes “go” and “back”?
      I didn’t know that. oh well that means we used to give a regular fighter 8 moves LOL

      -for Q2, if the axis controlled Panama, it’s ok too right?

      -and for Q5, if it’s a long range fighter, it is possible to attack East Indies and then land in India right?
      (assuming I’m UK and I still have India or my allies have it. )

      Hello everyone.
      Since my friends use air forces a lot, I think here’s something I need to know…
      hope you guys can help me XD"

      so, for the air units:

      Q1. if a fighter is attacking Western Europe from UK, how many steps does the fighter need?
            (I would say 2: SZ6/7 and then WE. Is that right?)

      Q2. if a fighter is attacking D.C. from Western Europe, how many steps does it need?

      Q3. if a fighter is attacking Japan from L.A, then how many steps will it take? (fly over Midway island)

      Q4. if a fighter is attacking French Indochina from Australia, how many steps does it need?

      Q5. what about it’s attacking East Indies from Australia?

      thank you, I’m so confused about the steps that fighters need, especially when they are passing the SZ and fly over the islands.

      ok, so sorry for posting another question about bidding@@a

      I got my AaA a couple months ago, I only played it like 4 times.
      last time we started bidding, ours was that give Japan and Germany additional 21 IPC. (for each of them)

      is that too much?

      cuz the game ended by the victory of axis, and my brother was so mad cuz he said it was hella unfair.
      I dont know if 21 IPC were too much (I was Japan)

      we are not very good, so we still pick the country we want to use, especially when we are teaching new players.

      I dont know which edition is mine either, it’s a board game, says:
      “Axis and Allies”
      “control the fate of the world”
      “now includes artillery and destroyer pieces”

      sorry I dont know if these information do help or not@@a

      another quick question…

      if in a SZ I use 3 fighters and 1 destroyer to attack my enemy’s 3 subs,
      does that mean those subs can only be defeated unless they kill my destroyer so they can submerge?

      also, if enemy’s subs defeated my DD and then they subnerged, my fighters have to end the combat and fly back right?

      Q1. so for the rockets, do people usually care about that? and can anyone give me an example about how to use it?

      Q2. super subs still have defense of 2, only the attack gets to increase to 3, right?

      Q3. heavy bombers can roll 2 dice per bomber, if I got one 1, one 3, that means I get to hit twice? (defeat 2 units?)
            or it basically just increase the probability of defeating enemies?

      Q4. this one maybe a little bit hard to describe.

      let’s see, the “bombardment” means when the trasport is off-loading land units, if a BB is in the same sea zone and did NOT conduct any combat,
            then the BB gets only one hit to the enemy’s land units right? (like cover your land units to land from the transport.)

      if the example above is correct, does the “combined bombardment” just give the destroyer the same ability?

      Q5. is there any other situation that sea units can attack land units except when a transpot is offloading units?

      I was hoping that maybe the BB and DD(developed) can just attack the land units as long as they are in the SZ that’s right next to the territory.
