how bout Dazed & Confused? the Doors?  something with good music in it.  when we play i dont watch as much as listen.  usually i’m too busy getting my butt kicked… :x

got another sub question.  if i attack with my sub against enemy boats with no destroyers, can i submerge before they fire back defensively?

only if u have bombers, which i did not.  matter of fact i had very little at that point in the game.  i just dont like to quit.  think i had 2 fighters in brazil, a carrier w/ 1 ftr, 1 cruiser, and 2 destroyers in sz 18, which the germans shelled. easy for italy to take brazil then.  dam germans.

i put a IC in brazil last time i played.  but by the time i did, it was very late in the game, and the Italians stole it with a some help from the germans.  i think it would work out well, just have to do it right away.  be careful though, a german IC in france lets them put boats in the Med, and from there it is only two spaces to brazil.  thats how i lost it.

and with a detroyer present, the sub cannot submerge.  makes sense.  thank you so much.

question on the rules for attacking sunmarines.  can battleships, cruisers and other subs attack submarines without a destroyer?  or do you always need a destroyer to attack subs?  i know a destroyer is required for planes to attack subs.

i have tried this, with great results.  G1, germans took karelia.  G2, they took caucasus. G3 they took moscow.  all with the help of those 6 Jap fighters that were not afraid to die.  the US player saw this and came straight to japan, which i stacked full of inf.  by the time US had enough to try to invade japan, africa belonged to italy and UK was being shelled by germany, and germany was toying with the idea of invading Washington.  allied player gave up.  sausages for everyone.

hey all, i am new to this forum, though i have been reading your strategies for a while.  i am a big AA50 fan, a friend and i play twice a week usually.  i am interested in this tournament, but i have no idea how it works.  can someone tell me? i would like to get in and play other people.
