A lucky start for the Germans! Must have been a surprise attack. Were you lying to the British about peace overtures again? I know you love to do that. :)
Yeah, good opening. Last 2 G1s I have had were terrible!

The game is over! Canada wins! Team Tacoma got diced hard in the big Moscow battle and conceded. Thank you to Team Vancouver for a fun game!
Sorry, Kaptain @Karl7, I did my best, but the dice betrayed me. :cry:
no worries, you weren’t betrayed by your strategy and skills but the GD dice! Remember, I voted for you in the only split decision of the entire tournament.

@CWO:
Pacific 2001 was the first game with convoy zones, naval bases and air bases, and my favorite, the CAP, Combat Air Patrol, the current scrambling is by far not that good.
Another novel feature of the original Pacific game was that it came with two types of American infantry units (regular infantry and Marines, represented by one sculpt model in two different shades of green) and two American fighter units represented by two different sculpts (though their cost and characteristics in the rules were identical).
Also, don’t forget the unique victory condition. Could result in real cliffhanger games–the US bombing Japan trying to claw back the VC points while Japan tries to hold on/capture India.

@captainwalker Morning. I told karl, by WhatsApp, that I would change my last Round’s casualties. I need to protect my fleet! Was minus 94, Therefore, Colt. Should have been plus 15-30. I would have set back the US for a few Turns. Now, who knows!

Hey I forgot to attack in eastern front, so I rolled it on dice server. Basically Italian stack vs 1 guy. Your guy hit. So I killed my car.

Shaddup, you got 9 extra hits. Don’t try to sell me your bullshit about how that was good for me. :-p
On average you should have been left with 6 tanks and 8 planes – instead you have 6 tanks, 4 artillery, and 7 planes, and you’ll have the transports to load all of those artillery. You came out way ahead on that one, just like you came out way ahead on G1. The Brits had some decent rolls on UK2, but at some point Germany has to actually take some hits, or it won’t be much of a game!
Oh yeah, I did well in Sealion.
Now it’s Russia’s time to shine!

Wait, so you nuked all the air? Ok, doesn’t matter then. Max defense.

Start round 3.
There was some crying by Allies by forgetting convoy Italy and then Axis crying when subs off England missed all convoy hits…!

I was watching Leningrad to see if there was an opening and there was. But I also got luck too.
Jets are basically the new bombers in this game, I figure. You could reduce range to make them more tactical. Super attack and defense but range 3?
