I have played thousands and thousands of games of chess, so I totally understand ELO and what you guys are arguing, just so you know. How many hours of thought was put into that 55 move chess game? I’m no grandmaster, but I’ve never had a chess game come anywhere near the level of effort of an A&A game
Gamerman, your system is SOOO annoying because I am not No. 1!!!

Axis D over Karl7 (allies)
Axis D played the Axis “sit on its butt” strategy of not really threatening to get the VCs but expanding enough to get econ equality, which in reality is a deficit for the allies. Econ parity really is Allies up 20-30 since the US and to some extent UK have to transport everything.
I wonder if this is a game breaker strategy. If the Axis play defense they can usually contain the USSR while keeping the allies away. The allies can only attempt a breakthrough which then gets nuked because attack is always better than defense in this game, especially in Europe where Germany can use its air to great effect in multiple theaters.

Ha, I forgot your German bomber there in Indo.
Game over. You’ll nuke the US fleet.
Interesting game. It was over I think 2/3 rounds back when it was apparent the Axis could basically block any allied move. Like I’ve said this sitting on the butt strategy is very vexing. The bomber strategy is more gimmicky and dicey. While this strategy is really insidious. Maybe a game breaker.

@Karl7 have you ever considered to just roll better dice?
Yup, I’ve applied several times for “better dice” but the application keeps getting denied

@Karl7 Just wanted to make sure you didn’t overlook it,
I would be very interested in playing the exotic E40 once, some dayNot sure where to put it in the league results, I guess OOB
This is amazing,
Karl7 and Jim010 played the 6th G40 game recorded in the league, in March 2012
Was probably alpha something
yeah no worries. Not sure if this would qualify as a league game. I will leave that up the Jim. I am currently only keep a toe in the league right now to stay somewhat sharp. Competition is off the charts from the 2012 days. Games going 24 rounds, you make 1 mistake you lose etc.

AD over Karl7 axis. I tried an experiment, the dice said “no” to that.
