I know it is a little late in the game to request this FMG but I had a great idea this evening. Forgive me if this has already been brought up. I think Axis and Allies control markers are cheap and what I have seen from your company my idea I think would be awesome. Picture this a German infantry unit holding a banner\flag with the iron cross or whatever German symbol you want on it. Use a decal to fit on the flag. Like my Napoleon in Europe game. Do every nation. Imagine looking at your board from a distance it may resemble some of the maps you saw generals pouring over during the war. If this has already been posted I apologize for wasting your time. I think these pieces would be fantastic FMG. Especially since what I have seen so far. Let me know what you think guys.

So, instead of a little round control marker to mark your foriegn territory conquests, you would have a soldier with your country’s flag to mark all your conquered territory?  That actually sounds pretty cool.  I could just picture a bunch of little German flags on a bunch of Russian territories, or Japanese flags on Chinese territories.  That would certainly add a little more “fringe” to the game.

good point.  I just like gray.

German field uniforms were Gray.  So they should be gray.  It’s also hard to have SS units when they are all Black.

Our Infantry are 5 ipc each.  We play on a customized map so we don’t have the same prices as you might have.

Our house rules are based off of 12 sided dice with a custom map.

Germany may not begin building Volkstrum til Turn Game 5 and may only have 6 in play at once.

As far as leaving Germany proper, that is one we should add.  However, in our games the Volkstrum are usually defending Normandy from invasion

In theory yes, in practice we still have to produce FULL SETS so we would be stuck with TONS of odd pcs with no way of recouping the investment on them.  This is a community project with no possible return on investment until all sets are complete. (Sales of one fund the next) So if you don’t want to see Germany… Don’t buy Italy.

How are the pieces going to be Sold?  Are they going to be Packaged by Country?  I would perfer packaged by Catagory.  Or both.  Discount if you buy the Whole Country, however if you would like to order by Catagory, then a person can purchase Trucks (which you will receive Trucks for all countrys) or Air Transports.  I am sure there are some of us out their who do not need anymore INF, Fighters or Artillary.

As everyone else I to am excited for the finished product and will purchase them no matter how you package them.

Being that Fair Play Games ran out of this pack first, it would be safe to say that this was the most popular set Table Tatics made.

I am needing more Half Tracks, Destoyers and Cruisers.  Will there be a re-issue?

How I look at it is that a $2 profit on (5) sets sold is the same profit on as (1) sold with a $10 profit.  It just depends on how FMG looks at it.  Velocity is key.

Question:  Will FMG offer all pieces individually as well.  Example, I can buy just German Transport Planes.  They can offer a price break if you buy as a package.  Reason I ask, is because the last thing I need is more INF.

How I see it is a $5 profit on (1) item is the same as a $1 profit on (5) items.

And that is how they should look at it.  You can’t increase sales by increasing prices.

suggestion:  more Sea Zones.  The Sea Zone on the China Coast is pretty large.

1.  why didn’t you do a 1939 map?

2. what program did you do your map on?

3.  looks great.  Needs more sea zones between S. America and Africa
