The Allies won last nite ALPHA+2, last week the Axis won ALPHA+2
  To tired last week to stay focused    up at 5 work at 6 home at 5 game at 7 dog tired by midnite  but this weekend I was able to get a cat nap in and lots of strong coffee

I don’t think a turn 1 invasion would turn out well.

OK.  I’ll start later tonight.  I have a modified opening I want to try.

Russia is strong, but what bugs me more than that is that the game is a bit dull for the US: No more really difficult choice : everything they have goes against Italy or is used to retake london. In Global, allies are pressured on both side very hard, and US have excrutiating decisions to take. In pacific, the japs can become a monster so fast that US has to spend a lot in there, and find themselves spending LESS in the europe theater than they do in the E 40 game.

Thread is up.  I’ll want you to check that the placement of units is right, though.

Yeah me too (trips that is)  Also I sounds like Larry really wants to wrap this up.  He stated Alpha+3 WILL be the final draft so…reading his recent posts, it seems like he’s already decided how to finish the last touches.  With that, Alpha+3 should be out any day I assume so its best we stop here for now.

Using Eagle Games ‘Fast Play’ rules, it could be played, but there is no battle board.  In my opinion, the battle board makes this game fun.

I don’t see how you could play it online with the battle board, however, as every movement needs to be done separately.

I’m looking for a low luck game of alpha 2+.

I’d like Axis.

I will insist on all moves being typed out.  No shorts cuts.

I play friendly, so catastrophic mistakes (like missing blockers and losing India) can be looked at.

Wait, wait, wait. Surprise strikes are before EVERY round in a sea battle? If so, I’ve been using subs wrong the whole time I’ve played Axis and Allies.
