      Make sure you have a mic and try out some coop campaign or versus again.  I LOVE being the zombies.  It is such a challenge to take down a good team of survivors and it takes a lot of coordination.

      Man talk about luck.

      Good luck to survive both.

      Bad luck to be there for both.

      Lots of luck involved anyway.

      As far as the age thing certain areas in Japan have been known for having people regularly live to 100 or more due to diet and lifestyle.

      It clearly does not but if somebody kept reposting what you wrote and asked all sorts of questions and attacked your point of view incessantly, would you not respond?  I wish people would leave me out of the conversation. I make one post and get a constant engagement for something thats not important to me. Its like some kind of sick joke.

      I will just close this thread.

      If you want to make a new one just leave me out of it. Don’t post anything in it concerning me or anything from this thread/posts.

      @frimmel:

      I think that your are incorrect on the schedule regarding length of playoff series.  :| The schedule is made assuming all playoff series go the distance isn’t it?

      I’m not sure, and couldn’t find anything detailing it.  But from what I’ve seen the World Series schedule didn’t get released until after the divisions finished.  Check this link for an example:

      @Imperious:

      I have seen: Mo’ Better Blues, Do the Right Thing, School Daze,Boys in the hood and Bamboozled

      Most of the cast are African Americans but i was making a joke about him casting an african as a German General but its not too far off from reality from the examples of his casting in other movies.

      Haven’t seen all those, but some of them were not good.  It happens.

      Fair enough on the joke, but it is not reality at all.  He mainly does movies about the Bronx, in black neighborhoods.  That is appropriate.  Casting black men as German generals is just stupid (but yes, funny), and not something to do since he was so interested in showing contributions of blacks in WW2 - albeit from a book.

      Oliver Stone only does movies where they ridicule conservatism viewpoints, so i expect to get that in all his movies.

      Ok, maybe you do, but that’s Oliver Stone.  But “only does movies” is completely wrong when you see: Natural Born Killers, Alexander, Any Given Sunday, etc., or look at most of the movies he wrote the screenplay for.

      @Cmdr:

      Well, I never claimed he had black nazis, but yes, I’ve seen some of his fiction.  They’re okay entertainment value, but not something I enjoyed as a primary repository for my hard earned cash.  I prefer Jerry Bruckheimer :P

      I wasn’t attributing the black nazi to you.  You don’t like him, ok, that’s fine.  No need to pull something nonsensical or unrelated like Michael Moore (yes, I know you don’t like him either).

      @Cmdr:

      I just went to see my first movie in the Theater of the year: “An American Carol” it was hilarious!

      I only went to the effort to see it in the theaters because Blockbuster is boycotting it (like they did with Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed until they lost the lawsuit.)

      Good fiction huh?

      Question: how can a movie rental company boycott something that just came out on screen?

      @Imperious:

      I saw Miracle and as i suspected it was a typical spike lee movie. He extrapolates once again south central/bronx ghetto rough language of the 1990’s in every sentence, while the Germans look like mensa candidates. The Africans are portrayed as disgusting, corrupted and uneducated soldiers ( with some exceptions) ‘looking’ for opportunities. Its like he made it to appeal to the audience that watched his other movies by trying to turn WW2 france into “Gang Wars of the Hood” and frankly their was not any way it would have worked unless it was specifically about the “buffalo soldiers” and their bravery in fighting in spite of how they were treated at home. ON this level it had a chance and intimated that and similar points but it was very weak effort.

      It should be a box office bust.

      I saw stroke of genious and this was better but formalistic plot sequence.

      Thanks for the assessment, I will reply once I’ve seen it.  Not holding much for it with the reviews, but will save the opinion for myself.

      @frimmel:

      I think the movie is likely to be feminist pandering. Jermo hit on the essential message –  people mess things up. I don’t see how they would ever let that through in a film. A simple one like a woman’s beauty is useless in a world without men will never make into the film.

      While I would hope it would, and we might see enough folks ready for a shift in their woman good, man bad world view I’m not optimistic and fear the film would just be the women even more genius and badass taking care of a even more hapless, dweebish Yorrick. I can’t see them really embracing anything from the tale other than the story of a dweeb with survivor guilt who needs taken care of and saved.

      Why did Yorrick survive the plague? Because he was too stupid to keep from getting sh*t on. I don’t see how Hollywood getting anything but women good-men bad from that.

      Y does have messages about equality and a sense that men matter in the world but I don’t see Hollywood doing anything with this other than asking, “Who needs men?” And answering “No one.”

      I’m sorry to say but I fear you might be right.  I’m glad I own the novels and had a look into the true version before Hollywood corupts it.

      It’s one of the best DS strategy games out there.

      Age of Empires: Kings/Mythology are both good.
      They are porting Jagged Alliance and it should be out soon as well.
      Panzer Tactics is pretty good too.

      @Emperor:

      @Jermofoot:

      @Emperor:

      The bottom line is she cheated on you.  After that there can be no “trust”, without “trust” no relationship can survive.

      Well, technically we weren’t together, so she technically didn’t.  Doesn’t mean it didn’t hurt.  I think it was wrong, and deep down she probably feels it as well, but I’m not sure.

      And, I’ve hurt her in the past…I wouldn’t call it cheating, but I’m sure she felt that way.

      Trust can always be rebuilt.  But it takes two parties dedicated to the task.

      I’m sorry but I don’t think that trust can ever be rebuilt.  There will always be that doubt, and those doubts will lead to arguments.  You say she didn’t “technically” cheat, but you have a child together, that creates a husband-wife-family bond, she chose to ignore her obligations to that “family unit” for her own selfish physical gratification, is that the kind of mother you want raising your child?

      I know my words are harsh, but really you need to think about what’s best for your son.

      In many ways you are right.  But I “did it first.”  Being an idiot and not thinking about consequences, not realizing that I didn’t really want to mess around with someone else, and drinking way way too much.  Took me a bit to get my perspective.
      Doesn’t mean it is an excuse for her to do the same.  But she did.  It can always be healed.  If the love is there.

      She and I had a great talk last night.  She’s still on the defensive some, but as long as you don’t accuse and actually talk about what matters, then you can make progress.  She knows I’m hurt, I don’t need to repeat it.  And if I love her, then there is always room in my heart to let her in.  The door is shutting, but it will never close.  It will just take more work after some time to get it back open.

      The thing is, she’s not so much rebelling against me, but against her life.  She admits that the other guy was a mistake and it shouldn’t have happened.  She wishes I was in the place I am now 2 years ago.  It would have been perfect.  But you can’t force anyone that way.

      So now she’s dealing with her new “freedom” and burdens of responsibility.  She’s getting quite a bit out, but her roommate tells me there isn’t anything I should be afraid of.  Deep down, she loves me, and he’s pretty sure, as most people who know us, that she’ll come around sooner or later.  And she acknowledged that herself.  It may take both of dating a few times to realize that, though.

      But, I’m not holding my breath.  Just slowly releasing my grip from the things I want since they aren’t immediately obtainable.
