One more thing: The purchases should read 1 sub, 1 dd, and 4 art. (not 6).

Normandy retained by the French, but wiped clean.
SZ91 (it is my understanding that my subs get sneak shots, as per the old rules. If this has changed let me know, and we’ll roll a three for this if need be)

Jercules (Axis) vs. BigBadBruce (Allies)
Hey BBB, thanks for the game. Yeah, G40, the latest ALPHA, nothing out of the ordinary as far as I know. We can play with tech. or not, I can’t imagine it mattering either way.
Anywhooo…

RE: Clarifications about blocking and such
ALSO, how does blitzing work with a PRO Neutral. My specific case is this: 1 inf., 1 tank for Italy in Albania, next to UNactivated Bulgaria. Can I “combat” the infantry into Bulgaria, activating it, and for a NCM blitz the tank through to Romania?
-
Clarifications about blocking and such
Q1 - Can you NCM navy and transports into a seazone that has an enemy transport?
Q2 - Since subs cannot block, can you NCM navy into a seazone with an enemy sub (or say, an enemy sub AND transport but nothing else, just to combine my two questions)?

Newbie looking for a game
I’d prefer the axis, but this is my first game via forums so I’m open to anything (my understanding is the latest module doesn’t calculate NO’s for ALPHA .2?)
Let me know, I’ve played Global a few times so in terms of gameplay I know what I’m doing. Let me know, looking forward to it! :-)

RE: Looking for an opponent
I’m game.
I’ve played it several times but never online. I have the latest battlemap and I’m pretty sure I get how to use the “dicey” thing outlined in the sticky. Would prefer to be the axis, but it’s no biggy. Might need a little patience :-)
I assume PBM means “play by mail?”

Quick question about the U.S. with the new rules
If Japan attacks J1, putting the US at war, do they have a Major IC to place with US1? Or does it happen during the collect income phase, like the bonuses, making it operational US2?

RE: Black Sea Assault
I’m surprised there isn’t more love for a G1 Barbarossa coupled with IC’s in the Ukraines or Rostov. Keep them on their heels from the very beginning, and build a massive trailing force that arrives just in time to defend the ICs (G3). I’ve never tried it, for all I know it’s a terrible idea, but it seems like a good plan for the long haul against the Russians.
