Yea, I got it in the other thread.  Mental block.  Happens when you’re teaching math, taking two upper level collegic math courses and raising two kids simultaniously.

Still, the subject title, Paint, specifically says NA Panzerblitz LHTR, it doesn’t say OOB.

That’s the one I recite now, instead of the original version.  It has more meaning, especially in a war torn world, I think.  Not to mention, that is how a United States soldier views himself, as a guardian, a protector.  Not a hostile war machine bent on the destruction and death and carnage of all he purveys.  I think, with some of the childish pranks that have been blown out of proportion, much of the world has forgotten about the average, everyday soldier putting his or her life on the line every day so that children and mothers and fathers can sleep safe and secure in their homes.

Regardless of your nation of origin, the poem rings true.  Whether you are American, Canadian, English, Russian, German.  You can swamp the names and places and uniform, but the story is picture is true, somewhere in your recent past.

And that’s why, for the 2nd Christmas now, I’ve posted it on the forums.  It’s meaningful to many.

Empty territories just get blitzed into and out of by Russia for free cash.

The idea here is to stack the territories where they have to either attack with significant resoures or yield them permanently.

      Update:

Germany holds most of Africa with 100% of Japanese forces being diverted to Egypt.  England’s putting 6 units a round into Libya (3 infantry, 3 armor) and hitting Germany for 7 IPC in damage every round (taking 5 damage in return.)  America is invading through Norway and W. Europe with 10 units a round with 5 bombers doing 17/18 IPC in damage (alternate rounds) and taking 12/13 IPC in damage (leaving me with plenty of income to keep at least 10 infantry, usually 6 infantry, 3 artillery, 1 armor) going into Asia.

Germany has yet to see a round after 1 with more then 40 IPC income.  They are currently averaging closer to 38 IPC - 25 in SBRs for a net of 13 IPC to Russia’s 20-28 IPCs.  Japan is no threat as they have to move all builds into Egypt to counter English reinforcements.

Germany has no Atlantic fleet.  Their med fleet is augmented with Japanese battleships to prevent American fighters from sinking them.

There is an interesting story - i believe in either Kings or Chronicles - where God employs the use of a “lying spirit” - sounds like one of those free-lance Gods like Loki/Mercury/Hermes/whatever in order to thwart one of the kings of Israel.  I wish i was not so busy/lazy to trudge out all of the details, but i thought it kind of funny.

That does kinda suck though.  I like the LHTR better. :)  But then, there’s a lot of good fixes in LHTR, probably why they came up with it.

And, btw, I do have color coded AA Guns and Industrial Complexes.  (Single Smoke Stack ones no less!)  2 For America, 2 For Russia, 2/3(AA) for Germany, 1 for Japan, 1 For England.

Hmm, given that situation, my perferred action would be to order some underling to take care of it and then yell at 5 privates for bringing the problem to my attention instead of fixing it themselves. :)

Actually, in my original day we had D&D, not D&D 2nd Ed or 3rd Ed, real, basic D&D.

MMORPGs just have never been able to reclaim the same feel.  They always screw up the cleric.

If you can get it for cheap, it’s not that bad.  But there are superior RTS out there.  Company of Heroes and Sudden Strike if you want a WW2 theme.

I also found that after playing a bit, all the nations seemed the same.  Apparently there not, after checking out unit & building stats.  You may not notice it that much while playing, though.

And cool as it sounds, there’s no way a true black hole could be created at the RHIC, as this article explains: http://www.bnl.gov/rhic/black_holes.htm

Yeah I thought extending to all territories.
And I also thought of ncscswitch’s comment.

Its easy to argue why realistically only enemy Capital require this.
We could consider extending to all Victory Cities, but that might be too much too.

What we could also do, is that conquer Capitals goes back to original control if not occupied by you have no land units there.
And I just realise I didn’t finish typing the draft rule.

      Conquer Capital

A captured capital territory generates 50% less income unless controlling player occupies it with sufficient number of land units. The number of land units required is equal to half the number of IPCs in income.

      Capital Territory          Units
      Germany/Berlin          5
      Japan/Tokyo          4
      Russia/Moscow          4
      United Kingdom/Londom          4
      Eastern United States/Wasington DC          6

Actually, you have close to a 67% chance of winning a 2 on 1 attack with infantry.  I almost routinely do a 2 infantry vs 1 in Borneo and New Guinea for that reason.  (Odds for Egypt are a lot lower with a German bid in Africa and you risk much more in assets for less pay off.)

      ?

I would simply say that, in almost all cases, it is just “bad form” to post PM’s or e-mails.

Unless of course you are on Witch Wars… then anythign you send by e-mail or PM is CERTAIN to be posted in public :-D

      ?

No problem with Jiffy Lube type places in general…

HOWEVER… some quick change places replace the oil plug with a quick release plug, usually after stripping the threads of your oil pan.  Be sure to check your oil drain plug BEFORE the oil change and AFTER.  A digital camera pic not a bad idea since it is free :-)

And if they strip your oil pan plug threads, MAKE THEM PAY FOR A NEW OIL PAN (from the dealer)

Wait a gosh durn minute, I have a dirty mind?  I didn’t write all those dirty phrases!

“What do you see in this ink blot?”

“Two men having sex with a lady.”

“What do you see in this one?”

“Two men having sex with each other.”

“What do you see in this one?”

“Two women having sex with a man.”

“You really have a dirty mind, don’t you?”

“Hey, you’re the one with all the dirty pictures!”
