      Vold,

      Mistakes happen, no worries.  I know there is a way to edit your past moves; however, I am not 100% sure how you do it.

      Being that there was virtually no combat in the past round, it may be easiest to just re-do the move.  That way you can pick up the minor IC and not waste the IPCs spent on the major factory.  If you want to re-do the move, it would be fine with me.

      That is my fault… I did not see that RGP had already played Anzac/ France.  There was no combat on my Anzac turn, just ignore it.  Again, sorry about that!

      @Vold:

      OK, we had some slowness but I’m back on track. �As this is my first game I need a little help. �I’m going off of the guide here (topic=25868):

      a) it looks like I need everyone’s email address, please post them or send them to me directly. �mine is ‘markporter.ak@gmail.com’. �I could not test the Dice Server without at least one address other than mine.
      b) Topic ID - do I use this thread (27327) or start a dedicated one?
      c) How do we handle scrambling and unit order of loss? �Do we post the question to the forum during the turn?

      That’s it for now. �I’ll post GER’s turn once I get the emails later tonight. �

      Vold, looks like the forum test worked!

      a) I will shoot you a PM with mine and Greg’s email addresses.
      b) Yes, use the ID for this topic (27327).  That way all of the dice rolls and combat moves will show up here.
      c) As for scrambling orders/ casualties, you can ask here on the forum or you can shoot an email to our team about what we want to do… the email route is probably the fastest way to get clarification.  Likewise, myself or RGP44 will ask you via forum/ email what you want to do about scrambles.

      The only other suggestion… when you get to the end of the turn, say G1, you will see a dialogue box in the upper right hand corner that says “German Turn Summary” with three empty boxes.  Make sure you select these boxes and then push the “Post Turn Summary” button.  That way all the moves will show up here on this thread.

      That’s awesome news!  With the 1940 reprint that makes 3 Axis and Allies board game coming out this year (1941 and 1942 revised).

      I would say the average length of a Global Game usually takes around 8-9 rounds.  Keep in mind, the game usually isn’t over at that point… one side usually conceeds as it is obvious who is going to win.

      Bunnies, hey bud how’s it going?  I am looking forward to our match up… this tournament is going to be a good time!

      As far as game preferences, I vote to use low luck for combat rolls only.  Otherwise, the default settings should work fine.  Also, I ask that both of our teams respect the Alpha 3 rules…  The 2.8 Global Map fixes a lot of bugs, but if there is a glitches out there, I just ask that we try to stay true to the newest alpha rules.

      How does that sound to you?
