      I got 40 magnets at Hobbytown for $6.

      I took me a few minutes to cut some small locking washers up for the metal.  I tested the strength by placing tape over the bottom to hold the metal in place before final superglue.

      Hardest part are the CV’s that are not open on the bottom  (drill).  (Total time about 15 min for the two sets so far).

      I was wondering if anyone had any better ideas for the CV’s that must be cut open on the bottom of the hull.

      I would like to see a WW 1 game in 2012-13.  Take some time to think it out.

    • Magnets

      Has anyone been placing magnets on CV’s.  Any suggestions?

      I could not take it anymore with the large Tac.Bombers.  Here is my first attempt.

      AA gun will likely take out at least one aircraft.

      (UK should move its tac. bomber to Uk if all German air force is intact and block sz with DD to negate German BB, CA support)

      Some of the German Tact bombers start losing the “4” on Rd2, the odds start to swing to the allies if you run a single round simulations after that point.

      I do not see how all aircraft stay intact after the naval battles on G1 and none gets killed by AA gun on G2.

      The first Sea Lion roll is more important than ever for the Germans which puts Sea Lion attack below 50% It could go down to 30% since one land unit must survive.  (Frood calc.)

      Its like an onside Kick in a football succeeding.  See it once (G  1) but not usually two in a row (G2)

      I still think that German TR builds are needed to to distract UK, thus help Italian Navy, support Barb and support Norway in the long run

      It is not listed directly at AV downloads?  Hard to find because it is under the games section.  Choose AA50 and you will see the downloads for manual and FAQ.

      IF G1 builds are a CV and 2 TR and with good outcomes in the g1 naval attacks
      then

      UK must build 9 inf
      They will have at min.  11 inf (one french) 3 fig, maybe 1 tact in the UK
      (If the G1  sz 106 attack fails, then 1 arm, 1inf extra)

      vs

      Likely G2 Sea Lion attempt of 3 inf, 3 Arm, 2 fig, 2 tact, 1 bomber.    (BB and CA fire support could be blocked by UK DD)

      Germany would have to lose zero aircraft on G1 to give G2 Sea Lion a above avg.chance of more then a flip of the coin

      If I am wrong, I would just add one more UK inf in the UK at the start ……Before making major changes to the game

      If u mean SZ 110.  Would the G2 naval attack and Sea Lion turn be this?

      I am waiting to see if Japan avoids attacking on J1 with most players in the Global game vs the Pacific alone.

      Germany and Italy need some breathing room in Europe.

      Why Cyprus? Why not Syria?

      Either would be fine, depending on the forces available in Egypt to counterstrike and the location of the TR that started in sz98. It might be in the Red Sea.
      Syria might be better in order to move into Pro Axis Iraq.

      Will a German bomber to sz 98 alter the med. enough?  with 7 moves, it could land in Tobruk (a Draw or win is a victory.)

      Will the dominos fall in which sz 95 has more UK casualties and sz97 is saved?

      One less UK Cruiser for attacks on Italy?

      if the USA goes all Europe, then Japan will take Honolulu and the rest of the Pacific and likely Cairo.

      Germans DO NOT need Moscow in order for the Axis to achieve 14 VC.

      It is not likely that the UK will take out Italy’s 97 fleet on round 1.  tough odds with only a fig and cruiser

      Fleet could move away or build a DD to block.  Germans could counter if the UK/French combined fleet stays in sz95/93
