I noticed that all the other tokens that I have taken have resulted in a screen shot at the end of my turn noting the token that I took. With France the token screen shot came up right away and disappeared as I was hammering away at the space bar. I wonder if that is what happened to you when you took Tokyo.

If you do go down to Italian Somaliland with that transport, you could bring the transport from India with two units to help. That and the bombardment is usually successful.
