I had absolutely no idea what to do with UK Pacific.  I went totally vanilla and hunkered down in Calcutta to await the coming invasion.  I figured I’d make a little bit of a fight for Sumatra (since I had no further use for that transport) and I am going to try to box in your Japanese transports off the China sea.  I know I missed some obvious plays… but I have absolutely no idea how to take advantage of the extra turn of builds.

Yes that is big.  Not nearly as big as having an intact BB Bismark and sub in the English Channel.  Rolling well.

Alright, you win.  If I had taken West Germany (and you don’t get your boats on the American fleet) OR if I had held in India OR if I had held in Russia OR if I had someway to retake India right now, I’d keep playing.  Any one of those 4 things, I keep playing because I love the European UK’s position and the money islands are probably mine for the rest of the game.  But I think you are going to get to one more VC in either the Pacific or Europe before I capture Tokyo.

Best case right now, I take the Caroline’s with force.  I move the Aussie transport up, and now I have 4 loaded transports in range of Tokyo (one from Hawaii as well coming in from San Francisco this turn) and you can’t really block them.  Even still, you just pile infantry in Japan and wait.  I am not in position to exploit a depleted Italy.  If I take Western Germany, you don’t go for the Atlantic fleet with just bombers (that will kill Germany economically trading my destroyers for your planes) and I move the fleet back to England this turn.

I want to play again and I promise I’ll hold out with the Soviets better.  My hunker down in the North strategy is just not working.  I already know what I am going to do for the game.  I see a pattern of what you are doing with Axis and I think I see a way to exploit that.  I’ll play Allies, no bid necessary.
