Before being sunk itself, HMS Prince of Wales not only sunk my cruiser, you shot down both strategic bombers.

90% of the Japanese Armada (including all 3 CVs and 3 planes, all my capital ships) are hitting the ships off of the Philippines’.  Invading I have 2 fighters and 1 Tac Bomber (or the other way around I don’t remember) plus 2 inf & 2 art.  Do you want to scramble or not?

politics/rules question

Because the soviets declared war on the Japan (not the other way around) and because you moved your troops into China, am I free to attack the Soviet Union WITHOUT activating Mongolia as your ally?  And if not, if Mongolia is activated, are you free to move those troops anywhere or must they remain in Mongolia?

I was going to concede the game if you whipped my @ss in Ukraine… but overall, I didn’t do half bad.  You won, but (because you didn’t have any air cover and the AA guns missed me) I supremely depopulated your front of Germans and basically all the Italians.  If I can’t take Egypt in a couple turns (thus crippling Italy’s economy for the rest of the game) then that will BE the game.  I would have to concede.  But not yet.  Basically at this point, I am just fighting to prolong it.  If I do re-take Egypt (and find a way to hold on to Sydney) maybe I can get my 5 US aircraft carriers back in the game in some capacity.
