Good post and your correct to point out this reality. We cant blame ALL the people who live in the same area, even though many of them in fact want a world w/o Isreal. They are a homogenous population but come from different backrounds to be sure and any policy doesn’t “blanket” their political dispositions. Thats sounds more like the way you treat school children than nations in conflict.

Make sure you make sure your “market-garden” game has the facts straight. If you want i can make your map but it will cost something but i can assure you it will be the best thing you ever saw.

Im begining work on a new Kursk game with a 4x3 or 5x3 map and lots of pieces representing the historical divisions/brigades that fought. Each combat unit is represented by a number of “pieces” so for example a division = 3-4 infantry pieces and one artillery unit. The game will feature a vector based map of the topography of the area . Their will be a card driven system for some movement and random events. If any body has any ideas on what should be included in this game just post away. example ideas on cards or unit types.

Its just like mine except the “3 or less thing” so you roll two dice the total has to be 3 or less… hmmmm…too much especially with 2 artillery doing it. I like the fact that your rules are getting closer to the mark. good job!!

Yes , yes just make your rule about “bombers” attacking armor units and substitute it with “fighters” so now fighters do this job. Bombers allready have too much to do (SBR, attack naval, Paratroopers, air transport, a- bomb dropers). That is all im saying again and again…

I support Isreal ( it may come as a shock to some of you) . My reasoning is basically the United States and other European nations began to charge huge fees on fleeing Jews trying to escape Germany. The German “solution” was totally unacceptable to be sure but still some of this blame lay on the hands of UK and USA. It was the obligation of the world to protect these people and give them a “seperate” place rather than forcing their integration into another culture. Isreal has the right to defend herself and has done so without our soldiers paying that price (ok their are some exceptions). I hope the next time they try to attack them , Isreal just mops up with another brilliant military campaign. Let them have their place in the sun (albeit a very small one).

Bombers and Fighters were used for many missions that either could accomplish. IN the case of Tactical ground support missions the “fighter” class unit representing the plane with a directed single bomb that is delivered against specific hard or soft targets should have the rule associated with targeted attacks against armor units, While the “bomber” piece representing the “strategic” bombing of mass targets such as “carpet bombing” or “air interdiction” such as in D-day should become the responsibility of these Bombers. The roles of each in this manner are more realistic (historically accurate) and dont negatively effect play balance.

I think we should have service ranks like the military. But we need to include service ranks from other nations (germany) so i can be a Obersturmführer like my grandfather was. It would be a fitting tribute. But for others they can be another rank

Stick to point: IN CUBA their “system” prevents these same people from screwing up the structure of their society. Being an island helps alot as well, while they posess adequate medical technologies ( it has been a heavy investment for many years) It has sustained them. If we have to open another can of worms the problem in Afrika is also open borders, while this allows even poorer people who are infected from traveling around looking for medical care and better conditions. This would have never happened during colonial rule. That entire continent (sake egypt)should be repossessed by Europe and returned to those heirs.
