@general-6-stars Make sure to tell eric or anybody that the map is never to be offered for sale. This is a community based product, I have seen some types think because they have the file, they can make money on ebay from it. This is not the case.

@themaster42 They are waiting for Imperial Borders. If it don’t have 20 pounds of plastic toy soldiers with Canada as the most major player…they don’t care. Fact

RE: Custome axis and allies mapposted in Customizations
@general-6-stars Id like the version that has no air fields and some written Italy rules. When do they play in sequence, etc Plus explain the new units. The airfields icon is too distracting to the map imo

RE: "East & West" by Imp Games - Discussionposted in Other Axis & Allies Variants
@the-janus Hey, I am very happy you are so persistent with your fondness for that game, it may take a while but to discuss more on how to access the game so others may participate will facilitate your end and bring this forgotten game to greater light. (I would get a proper file for the map and rules and ask permission of course from whomever). I remember very well all the chatter on IMP games back in the day. Another thing - perhaps you might bring up that space 4X game IMP games made along with the WW1 game and how to get these. I own all three of course, but im lazy to find them in storage. Pictures do alot towards promoting these games as well. Just trying to help!

@imperious-leader This is to cover how my last file was lost.? Anyway all setup sheets and map are essentially the same. This would be the same files at Historical Board Gaming and is version 2.0.

RE: Korean 6.25 Warposted in Other Axis & Allies Variants
I’m working on a redrawn map for this game after you tube commentary and further playtesting. The map file will follow soon. But for those of you that made a copy, nothing changes but the rules. The map is an extension and minor fixes to include USSR and all of North Korea.

RE: General 6 Stars 1941 WW2 Gameposted in Other Axis & Allies Variants
The colors are not really good. Check google they have a accurate template of colors representing the nations. Its not Axis and Allies related, but i think they want to convey colors used for wargame colors, or maps of the period. The search might take a while, its kinda obscure.

RE: General 6 Stars 1941 WW2 Gameposted in Other Axis & Allies Variants
@general-6-stars Cartography among other things is the accuracy of the coastline. Its not just blobs of land without any character. Even if you were to fake it if just shows a lack of care and goes into the Jr. High school project category. It must be accurate to a fault, but with due consideration to convenience to the playing situation ( larger Europa). It should take 1000 hrs+ to draw this, not 2 hours. If you care about what your doing, follow that guideline. Remember how well you altered my map 1942.2? do the same here!

RE: General 6 Stars 1941 WW2 Gameposted in Other Axis & Allies Variants
@general-6-stars The cartography as ghastly. Try and spend more time drawing the coastline with overlay of actual map that has opacity set at 50% of so, and really do the areas well. the trick is keeping Europe huge and not squeezing Africa too much. Connections to the middle east may prove tricky as well. Asia should be easier

RE: Did this game do well financially?posted in Axis & Allies & Zombies
@taamvan Im waiting to buy Imperial Borders. That game gives me goosebumps. War room isn’t really another AA game, its too different and not of my taste. The game has to have a rectangle map and real pieces! This is what im waiting for as an extension of AA products by other means.

@trig yes i do but its still not pleasing to the eye. certainly something could be done, global 40 isn’t like that

RE: Preview of the GW1936v4 Mapposted in Global War 1936
@dsumner Well the cartography is decent, as is the detail. color of oceans is correct and the sea lanes of trade. Logo is a step above the V3.
