IL You are right, however I dont think they should be able to be BUILT. Just destroyed. It took the japanese a long time and a lot of people to hollow out mountains, and turn them into fortresses. Compared to the amount of time it takes to destroy them. The maginoit line took years to build up, and it took a signifigant amount of the french military to uphold it. I agree there should be natural defenses, but I think it would complicate gameplay, and it wouldnt make much sense, the amount of time it takes to train infantry is much shorter (and cheaper) than it takes to build a fortress. (but I can be wrong I have been wrong before). I think it should be natural defenses, not something you can just build in a turn. For a relatively low amount of IPC. Remember IPC isnt “money” per se, its man hours spent on whatever is being built. If they can be “built” (blockhouses) I think it should cost 15 IPC for three turns. To discourage players from doing something that in reality….wouldnt have ben done.

why isnt the fighter replaceable?

aww…It can only purchase infantry and artillery? why not build more flying tigers in this game? I just figured buying ONE fighter is not a good idea compared to infantry.

Thank goodness. People didnt actually BUILD those things during the war…its innacurate and more importantly ruins game balance…makes it too WWI

theres also mechanized infantry too… China also has the flying tiger. in my games in invariable gets used defensively. Although two infantry and one artillery is a really good buy. This is china so youre bound to be stuffed to the rafters with infantry though…

China makes (from what I can tell) 11 IPC to start with. Whats smarter, three infantry? or two artillery? I mean the infantry can defend the same and you get more. But in the pacifif China is most likely going to get attacked first. What can china do to prevent this? Or is it inevitable?

Oh, the suggestion was a “government in exile rule” I reeeally dont think it should apply to any allied armies. Mostly America or russia.

I cant disagree more. You only want thr rich nations to establish government in exile. When clearly the two you DONT want are the ones that actually established one. If america is taken out the game is over. If russia is taken out pack it in mate. The germans can overwhelm England (eventually)

Italy really depends on north africa. There cant be to many forces there right? there never are in my other games.

We dont know yet. The europe board is still being playtested. We will probably be able to figure it out once pacifc comes out
