Its almost unusable? I play with Russia the old school way. Buy stacks of infantry and NOTHING ELSE. With mech infantry now. artillery are really really redundant.

Both, recall that the Italians made their tanks using Rivets, which would make the tank fall aprt, or worse could get shot off during Combat. Modern Tanks however were wielded together. Making them much stronger.
