Thats how me and my family play. Its a LOT harder for the Island nations though. Like Japan and Britian.

Not necessarilly confuse me per se, but to counter it. There IS NO effective counter to it. I use can opener strategies all the time, typically with America as the fall guy, they have the IPC and its not like you can take AND hold their capitol. I typically spam bombers with America bomb france then hold it with Britian repeat ad nauseum. Or until the Germans are defeated. There is NO counter for it. not one that permanently works anyway.

oh you send in a force to weaken it, then another army to hold and take further stuffs. Thats not neccesarrily a bad thing. I do that in almost every game. with on ally or axis power. there are just SO many major powers that you absolutely have to win and work together or lose seperatly.

Take africa first. Yes I agree with the moscow thing Veqryn posted, but that extra ten IPC will totally boost your economy while decimating the UK. As japan decide if China or India is better to punch through.

Actually did you see the territory above China ( mongolia I believe) its all broken up! That leads me to beleive that you might be able to sneak through it to get to chinese territories! or that its going to have a bunch of infantry to discourage you from going into it.

Thats how I have actually always played. however in group games the person that loses thier capitol typically loses the will to play the game, and it isnt fun anymore.(try UK without its major Capitol tell me how fun THAT goes for you) You can play that way, however it would only be enjoyable in one on one games.

Did stacking happen in the reality?

Guys, war shouldnt even be in your top 5 options. Thiers diplomacy, sanctions, and a whole bunch of OTHER methods that arent for war. Not that Im a pacifist, its just wars are expensive…If only they were cheaper…
